There are new rumours that an unknown person was involved in skirmishes in the lair of Gru'dush Gredjiit, East of Greatgaunt. Scores of orcs were found dead in the cave but the culprit seems to have escaped undetected, so it is unknown who has broken the Peace.

Meanwhile in rarely travelled cave system under the river by Valkur... Blackstone would have thrown the makeshift garb she used to the ground, having narrowly escaped the orc caves by Gaunt, angry at her apparent lack of skill. She was sloppy! She thought she was careful, having snuck around the herald earlier, but perhaps the sounds of combat drew his attention deeper into the cave... she would have to be more cautious in the future. Quicker kills, quieter footfall, indistinguishable from shadows. She would set her blunt weapons aside, thinking the recent rain covered her trail. She would need to change things... perhaps the battle axe and handaxe this time... until things quiet down. Digging amongst the bag of cave loot, she would pull out a curious belt and set it near a small fire she had built with alchemist fire and brush. The leathery belt caught the light as the small fire danced in the cave. These were orcs. Filthy tuskers. Not an honorable beast and never to be trusted. A vile infestation of the land. Humans were too quick to trust, too quick to forget. A true friendship can be done in maybe 40 years time, but to forgive an offense, no.... a century at least for an old dwarf. She would save the foolish humans. She couldn't do this alone.... so she began planning... but where would she start to recruit? .... After gazing at the belt for a length of time, she would set it to the flame. Never forget.
