In the early morning hours of Eleasias the 18th, carpenters sanctioned by the city head out and place wooden signs here and there. Most noticeably would be in front of the main entrance to the sewers and in front of the bank. These signs read the following: ATTENTION ADVENTURERS
The City of Valkur's Roar needs assistance with finding and locating a potential nest(s) of rats and bigger creatures residing in the sewers. The Office of the Minister of the City Interior and the City Guard is offering a minimal bounty for the slaying of any rats or found within the city sewers.
Please contact Guardsman Grit Amador at the Great Hall to inquire about details. Bounties will NOT be paid to those who do not contact Guardsman Grit or Minister Mynian Copperhand BEFORE venturing into the sewers.
WARNING: These are not your average rats. They have been reported to have gotten larger over time. Do not venture in alone, go in a well kitted group, and be sure to have items or abilities that assist with diseases. - From Minister of the City Interior, Mynian Copperhand //OOC: This is a tie in to the continued rat plot being done by AnvilX and Goldilocks . I'll leave it to them to field the finer details of level expectations and other OOC questions. Please contact them if interested in this. Game on!

On Darvin's way back out of the alley way, he slyly walked off with Holant's chair (Guard from Valkur's Roar). He took it around the corner grabbing some parchment and began writing about his findings in the sewers.
"Ms. Mynian Copperhand,
The state of the sewers is quite alarming. I would say that "rats" are the least of your problem and worry down there. Though large numbers of rats were found and exterminated, our group had also discovered a gang of rat-like shape changers. This group was quite dangerous and organized. I myself didn't hear anything of importance in the bit of screaming and conversation that could be heard. The only thing that seems memorable to state is that they were very clear about their goal of not letting us escape to give any information of their presence. Also I would like to add that there are some rats below that are size able enough to be ridden as a horse. The small team of us that were down there killed somewhere along the lines of 800 rats or more.
I'm unsure what the loud booming sounds and shaking that was happening down there. If I had to guess though, I would say they were tunneling further through the sewers under the city. We had found a hidden trap door on the first layer of the sewers that had a ladder leading down into a much more disgusting part. That is where you will find they have been congregating. I saw no signs of any type of machinery or anything of that nature, but we were not able to go entirely through the corridors. Perhaps some of the others will report as well and may have caught things that I had missed. I hope you find this report useful and if you have any further questions feel free to seek me out."
He signed his name at the bottom of the parchment elegantly
"Darvin Evenwood"

Tomira comes across the signs, reads them carefully, and after a little "Oh" escapes her heads to the Great Hall to seek out the guardsman and inquire about the bounty, current plans, and reports from the sewers so far.
