In a heated debate, sometimes the facts of the matter can become lost in a sea of passion.
The Triadic Order would like to put the following to pen, so that there will be no misunderstanding.
For the cause of peace for all, we would make this agreement.
The Triad would grant the following to the Stoneland orc tribe:
1. An amount of food equal to 130% of what was requested. 2. Passage through our territory for supply caravans, non-military, inspected and escorted. 3. Establishment of a mission or house of healing for the benefit of the orc settlement. 4. Inclusion of the orc settlement under the umbrella of our protection during patrols into the Stonelands. 5. Agreement to abide by the terms of any treaty entered into by the crown.
In return, the following was asked:
1. Urbucheck would issue a statement denouncing the practice of demonic rituals in his tribes. 2. A path would be provided allowing us to reach the Stonelands (// the area named 'Enter the Stonelands') via our north gate. 3. No military buildup of soldiers or hardware near our keep, beyond a reasonable defensive force in the settlement. 4. Agree to abide by the terms of the treaty, same as we will.
In addition to this, there are several of the order who would provide separate personal food donations.
We fully understand the need to get used to the presence of our new neighbors. We will make every effort to allow them opportunity to show their peaceful intentions.
Finally, your Lordship, in case you have not been fully informed of our order's goals and why we request the patrolling access that we do, I will include here an except from our charter approved by the crown.
"Purpose: (what is the main purpose of the guild) Maintaining the Golden Lion's Penance of Duty, Debt of Dereliction, and Debt of Destruction, the guild is primarily set up to be a bastion for the Triad in the eternal struggle between good and evil. It's immediate goal will be to bring Cormyr's and the faith's influence over the Stonelands, pushing back the Zhent and Banite agents working there ... or at the minimum, keeping them in check."
