"Life's kind of like this apple. It's sweet, but the longer you see it the more rotten it gets. Still, the seeds of something new're in it, and that's where we can do better."
Name: Findon Goodbody
Race: Halfling (Lightfoot)
Weight: 37 lbs
Favorite Food: Apple
Just at the cusp of adulthood, the animal that one might liken this energetic and friendly Hin to is a bushy tailed rabbit. Running to and fro on a pair of well made sandals, he's often bouncing and jumping through life regardless of what challenges await. A bit taller than the average for a Goodbody, Findon was born in Shallybrook barely more than two decades ago and by all rights is barely an adult by Hin standards. Bearing the robes of his monastic order and several large scrolls of spells he'd been taught by his mentor of the Shields, he looks quite prepared for whatever foe that might cross his path.
Despite his young age, he began training as an acolyte of both the Hin Fist and Shields of Yondalla in his mid teens through local members having taken residence in the community itself. Finally let lose on Cormyr, the halfling roams the lands in an effort to protect innocents and any who need protection from predators and the like. A combination of a constant hunger for improvement, an affable attitude toward his friends and relentless foe for his enemies, he hopes he can one day return to Shallybrook to truly become the man he believes he needs to become. He doesn't know who that man is yet, otherwise he'd already be him.
Something he is vocal about when he's had a few puffs of pipeweed or a few drinks at the local pub, however, is a dream that seems a touch odd for the young Hin. While he genuinely enjoys the thrill of battle and the victory that often comes after, he is not a killer by choice. To prevent the need for unnecessary bloodshed, he seeks to attain a powerful Curse only usable by powerful adherents to Yondalla. More than that, though, he only says when asked.
These days, the young hin mostly sticks around Greatgaunt due to it being the mecca for up and coming adventurers like himself. Already calling a fair few friends from those other travelers who often find themselves around and outside the inn there, he hopes to find himself striking further out. After all, people in need are everywhere, he can't just stick to one place.
