Still working. Our campus has decided to have all staff only work in one given building for the duration of the outbreak, so my schedule wound up getting messed with. Not looking forward to working weekend overnights.

Quarantined myself today. No fever, cough, though I'm certain it is just standard season thing for me. Monitoring though and all precaution measures deployed.
Decided to go for traditional medicine... Lot's of rakija and herbal teas. I really like how everything is organized and well stocked on everything here so I will be just fine in regards to that.
Now log them epics.

Sign of the times
Just spent the last 15 minutes listening to my boss give tech support to his own daughter as the profile settings on the laptop wouldn't let her access the school website properly.
Had a co-worker leave and self-quarantine as his wife was told by her doctor to stay at home. She has a mild fever, but since there are no testing kits available to see if she's contracted COVID-19 all she can do is shelter-at-home. Co-worker is fine and shows no symptoms, but he's taking the precaution.
... personally I think he just wanted to work from home and do so in pajama pants. That was a big talk we had yesterday. The value of a good pair of really comfy pajama pants.

This week at the VA they started question screening employees. YOu can not get an excuse so you need to come about one hour before your shift to make sure you are at work on time.
They are looking into shortening the process.

Working from home every day now.
And when I say working, I mean getting paid around $70 per hour to play NWN.

I’m remote teaching middle school and elementary classes and teaching other teachers how to use things like Moodle and Google Classroom. While I’m doing that I’m also printing out n95 masks for local healthcare workers on my 3D printer since it feels like you have to murder someone to get a mask these days.

Lockdown is growing across Aus. On the upside I now get huge amounts of time to work on my armouring and blacksmithing. As well as sword drills and general exercise.
Lack of govt support is painful. But getting by.

Well things have gotten a little better. They have opened a separate line for people with mobility challenges or disabilities. I only had to wait ten minutes.

So whether on the phone or in passing Veterans at the hospital have been calling us heroes. Today as I was on my way back to the pharmacy, a Veteran saluted me saying we were heroes and surviving our own Vietnam. I was a bit taken aback but I told the Vet I thank you for your service.
I get the Vietnam reference. Soldiers had to go there even if they did not want to. They had to deal with viruses and other things.
Unless I am stricken with the virus I need to go everyday. My position duties do not allow me to work from home.
Was a nice compliment when you put it in perspective.

I don't envy you Anime. At least with my line of work, my interaction with the public is almost non-existent. Any health care worker though? Not only do you have to face the storm, but you guys roll right into the heart of it. Daily. -That's- why you guys are heroes. Virus or bullet, both can kill you just as dead. Instead of machine guns, you've got sneezes. Instead of booby traps, you've got coughs. You don't know who's carrying or not. Honestly, I see a hell of a lot of similarities myself.
That said,
Thank you. For your service.

Quarantine shmarantine.
I got it!!! Me and my husband.
Fortunately for us, we didn't get respiratory complications. We had lowered oxygen levels, though.
We weren't tested, but a good amount of symptoms were the same wnd it didn't feel like a flu or any illness I had before.
The one symptom we have left is tinnitus. Both of us have it,we haven't seen anywhere that it's supposed to be a thing.

Both of us have it,we haven't seen anywhere that it's supposed to be a thing. Hope it's a flu or something else. Fingers crossed. Monitor and all though... Note, that for the majority of cases, covid isn't worse than the flu. Most probably dismiss it as flu or a bad case of cold. For the certain few it has the respiratory complications, since this corona virus attacks lungs. Some got it so bad that they need extra oxygen and respirators. Me and my husband were lucky. I had a deep, dry cough and my husband felt pressure over the chest area. We both experienced shortness of breath and lightheadedness. The worst were the mornings just after we woke up - we could barely stand straight. I was bouncing on walls and furniture. It's much much better now for both of us. The biggest problem with covid is that it is super-contagious, and because of that the numbers of critical cases and deaths are insane. I'm pretty sure that the number of people who had the mild version but were never tested is much higher than anyone thinks. Sweden for example onky tests now the people that need help or to be hospitalized. I consider myself extremely lucky. I have a preexisting condition that places me in the risk-group for complications. And it looks like I didn't get any. Now my job is to not spread it.
