Word has begun to circulate of several people making seemingly miraculous recoveries from what was thought to be fatal illnesses and others near life’s end being restored to an unusual vigor and perfect health. For some it is as if the calendar has been turned back decades. Many have begun to flock to this miracle workers banner. A charismatic man garbed only in old worn purple robes is known to his followers as The Hagard. This followers speak of The Hagard with reverent tones calling him a holy man and blessed.

A train-worn archer listened to the stories and rumor being passed around the commons, puffing a bit on his pipe. When news of "The Hagard" reached his ears, he scratched at the few days of scruff upon his chin, recalling a conversation and an ill-fated expedition with a trio of others within the Bramblewood. He kept his thoughts regarding news of the "miracle-man" to himself, though; resolving to seek out his companions on that expedition soon, as well as letting his "folks" know his insights in well enough time.

Chell would make it his task to seek out this healer with hope that Hagard would tutor him in improving his healing skill or simply put himself in service of for a while.

*Upon hearing the news has spread he makes it an effort to seek out Adrian Chapel to discuss it more, and fortify any rumors, for the time being it is suspected that the Goblins in the Bramblewood have allied with this "Hagard" character*

The small gnome was often lost in thought, especially after her recent encounter with the goblins and their strange...friends. They mentioned "the Hagard coming through". It was the first time she heard a goblin speak common and the phrase rang through her ears. Soon she started hearing "The Hagard" coming from the mouths of others. By eavesdropping around town Bellarai learned a little more before deciding she had to find Xzanos, Adrian, and Azaril and get to the bottom of this.

Followers of the man called “The Hagard” have been present in Great Gaunt speaking to any who might listen of miracles preformed by their holy man. For the most part the followers were ridiculed mocked and on the receiving ends of many jest which they endured with stoic humour and grace. Still “The Hagard’s” message resonates in the ears of the desperate.

*The tall dark haired man stands in the crowd of hopefuls waiting to draw the attention of one of the Hagard's followers, his eyes still somewhat red and watery from the onion he cut in preparation for his act, when the moment seemed opportune he raised his voice in a plee for aid. Attempting to sound as distraught as possible.*
He informs the follower of his companion who has come down with the whitewaste and he fears that she will succumb to the disease within tenday. Seeking aid for his friend he inquires as to where the Hagard might be found. *Bluff*

A frail looking Elf lingers just close enough to hear but far enough away to be not pulling attention.
His face is shrouded in magical darkness and the cigar he is smoking fails to illuminate any of his features.
He eventually vanishes, without a word, and reappears moments later within his rooms at Alizarin. He sets his Cigar in a mithril ashtray and moves to the centre of the room. He sits down on the floor and positions four ivory strips in an arcane pattern and then places a bundle of quality incense on the floor in front of himself. He then closes his eyes and begins speaking the words for the Legend Lore spell. The incense ignites and he sits in silent meditation, waiting to see if the spell reveals secrets or information in relation to who or what the Hagard is.

Bellarai developed a habit of sitting around in the square to listen to the town gossip. With her notes strewn about, weighed down with rocks, she pondered what she had learned in the previous days. The arrival of these Hagard followers made her feel uneasy. She didn't have the courage to approach them just yet. Though the townsfolk didn't seem to be paying them any mind. They sounded like a religious sect. Did one truly deserve such praise? These people truly follow this Hagard. Why? He is no deity. Could he truly perform miracles or was it just magics in disguise? She scratched behind her ear in frustration. The actions they described reflected true altruism. Even if the Hagard was helping the goblins, could it be in the name of true caring? Regardless, helping the goblins meant trouble for Greatgaunt. She just couldn't shake that gut feeling she's had since that trip to the Warrens and couldn't afford to give these followers the benefit of the doubt.
She rearranged the notes before her one more time before deciding it was time for a nap. Things still didn't make sense and she had more questions than before. She gathered the loose parchment together into a leather binding and made her way to the inn. She would ask the innkeeper more as she checked in for the night.

The flyer catches Bella's attention as she makes her way to her usual table. She sits and pulls out her parchment, making a note to speak with Giselle soon. Leads on the Hagard had grown cold. Bella needed a break. It was practically an obsession at this point. She would spend everyday wandering the Bramblewood or venturing in search of the Hagard, asking almost everyone she met if they had any information. However, it seemed the person who knew the most about the Hagard may just be her. Yet here again she sits, reading over her notes trying to see clues that may not be there. A simple book delivery may be just what she needs to boost her morale and take her mind off the Hagard for a short time.

"Huh"
Adrian grunted as he read over the announcement, struggling a bit on the bigger words. He'd kept his eyes and ears open for the "holy man" revered by man and goblinoid, but so far had come up lacking.
"Ain't never been t' Bishop, or e'en out that way. Might be good t' stretch my legs a bit; walk a path I ain't gone down."
He made a point to pop in to the magician's shop, offering to assist her and any other comers.

Bella reads a book as she waits outside of Giselle's shop for it to open. Being a lover of reading Bella was confident she could safely transport a book regardless of how far the trip took her. She was in good spirits at the prospect of this journey to a new village.

Rumours spread of a caravan to the village of Bishop that was attacked by goblins. Of the caravan there were no survivors but the caravan members were avenged by Bellarai Luceanu, Laa'a Laecalny, Xzanos, A'zu'ra, Mitch Alders and Sylus Kelton Some from the village of Bishop claimed to see a robed man fleeing the scene.

A near constant stream of domestic animals has passed through the village of Great Gaunt on their way to the village of Bishop. Lady Lavania of Bishop is reported by many to be behind the purchases of the livestock. Opinions vary as to what end. Wild rumours of plague disease and contamination of the local food stocks abound. A few induvial have even taken to purchasing the animals themselves and seeing the beasts sent to other locations. The only fact of any certainty is that Miss Lavania has bought a significant number of large farm animals lately.

Word around town is that the master woodworker Warric has been hired to oversee construction of a building extension in the Village of Bishop by one miss Lavania of Bishop. Warric over the next few days has been about Great Gaunt and Valkur’s Roar buying construction supplies ferrying the materials downstream to the village of Bishop.
It is also been said that Miss Lavania of Bishop has been asking around town and left message with Kale the proprietor of the Griffon Inn that miss Lavania wishes to speak with Otter. Details as to what about were not provided.

As the situation develops and as he gains more and more insight about this individual... Chell would become convinced that Haggard is someone who has a great deal to explain to authorities and that the best thing would be to bring him in to explain himself...

Word circulates that the village of Bishop has received an ominous threat by way of a flayed tattered deer-hide. Speculation on who sent the message varies. Many are claiming the grim missive was sent by the Hagard, while many in the village blame Lavania. Others say it is someone else. With the recent death of Druid Colin Leverett fear runs rampant in Bishop and several of the denizens of Bishop have taken to offering up small sacrifices of food on make-shift alters around town and in the nearby woods. Banditry in the area is on the rise and several caravans have been attacked as of late in vicious assaults.

Another of the ominous messages has arrived in the village of Bishop.
“The Lord of the Bramblewood has decided to reward your fledgling faith. Take these supplies and heal person and beast. My minions are watching your town to ensure its safety and are killing any bandits in the land around you. Stay inside the town if you value your lives and offer your faith to the dark powers for my aid. Your deliverance is at hand.”
A crate of healing elixirs, medicinal herbs and even a few scrolls have been mysteriously provided by the unnamed Lord of the Bramblewood. Yet a great many of the village have fallen sick after imbibing the potions. Angry retorts are often heard blaming the so-named Lord of the BrambleWood for all their ills, the rise of banditry, missing people, the devastation of several dwelling.
