*Mobius leaves a folded parchment with Kale at the Regal Griffon Inn with instructions to notify Seamus upon sight, with a description of his tall stature, red hair, and gold/blue armor*
Seamus,
Per your instructions I spoke with a few of the former Officers of the pretender that I could find. Unfortunately myself, Aeron, and Otter were not aware of the pretenders helmet until the recent meeting, and also have no relevant information pertaining to the creation, breeding, and nature of the war dogs. For full transparency I have not seen Aein in some time and do not expect to see him anytime soon so I am writing this report without having spoken to him, but I doubt he will have anything to provide either. I would also repeat that the only information that was provided to the former Officers was deceitful in nature and in relation to the defense of the pretenders claim. We are unfortunately just as lost in these recent findings as everyone else.
I did however get a chance to speak with Vindel and Lord Carek separately in Greatgaunt earlier today and was able to obtain some information that may be useful.
Vindel does not know the whereabouts of the real Matthias, the nature of the helmet, nor does he know about the creation, breeding, and nature of the war dogs that he says were brought here as pups from Sembia. He did share that the maggots, war dogs, and the battlefield have something to do with the ritual, but was unable to elaborate. More importantly he also said he knew the whereabouts of Lady Dora. He claims that Lady Dora is not in a mortal form at this time, but that her soul is being kept somewhere by someone. He asks that if Task Force Visor would allow him to test the helmet on himself as he previously requested, he would be better able to share that information. There is however an alternative...
I later spoke with Lord Carek about these issues and he informed me he knows of the issue with Lady Dora, and that he had tried to bring this information to Arician's attention but that the offer was refused. I am unsure why Arician would refuse such information as I am not familiar with him personally or any part of the Visor's dealings, but I believe Lord Carek is still willing to provide this information willingly if asked.
That is all I have to report at this time, but I will continue to find out what I can should any other sources present themselves.
