So, after 3 years of pampering (including a cold, a hot and dry, and semi-normal summer) - finally this poor elder bush looks magnificent! (bought a house 3 years back)

And think of the lemonade you can make from the blossom or the jam from the berries... Last year I made elderflower and rhubarb lemonade. Disappointed about the color (wasn't pink!), but tastes OK. I leave the berries to the birds

Again, not terribly exciting or amazing stuff, but, because of the storms and on and off again power as well as the continued effects and presence of the Virus. I have been working on my stinky "battle" jacket here and there. As well as other metalpunk attire in preparation for desperately wanted concerts. Images hidden by the spoiler option to reduce size and space! (invading boots) This is the back before I did some new work to widen areas for the arms to make the vest fit less awkwardly, this is all the back will likely have on it, let Amebix shine alone! Why not, they are one of my favorite bands! This will no doubt upset someone!, this is the first pass over to create a new seam LOL as you can see my skills are on par with that of a booze addled goblin! The second pass will be to neaten up things, go back over with the green twine to make a nice line and rows of thread. forgive the condition of my workshop/art studio floor btw...ugh. And finally the front! nothing crazy, pretty simple and to the point! I cannot wait for concerts to be a thing again!

I am an ADHD hobbyist. I actually have ADD and it's great for my creativity, not so great for my productivity. I'm a habitual learner. I am still in college (at 37) and enjoy most of my classes. Though, admittedly, I am so glad that I only have 9 weeks left until I finally finish my degree. I have my own small business where I work in graphic design (usually small business branding). I am a stay-at-home parent, too, to my 2 kiddos, one who is almost grown and has epilepsy and one who is pre-teen. They're actually pretty stinkin' great kids. My mother lives with us and I care for her, which lately has been a full-time job. She went into the hospital on June 15th and hasn't been the same since, though she is at home now, it's almost full-time care. I, um, craft. I draw, I paint, I epoxy, I color, I doodle, I refinish, I reupholster, I rearrange, I carve, I build, I design, I plant, I cook, I... well, I will try anything creative. I don't know how old yendis account puts up with me. Here's a few pics for fun: A doodle. Lego table for the kiddo. Kids favorite YouTubers. Paint pouring and epoxy. Bow making. Display/organization for the kids collection. Part of my craft collection. Yes that's all glitter. Hand painted and glittered cups. (sealed with epoxy) I used to own a button shop on Etsy. Revamped this 1940's brass chandelier. It had been on the front porch for nearly 60 years. Packages from Santa (I do this almost every year.) Who can resist a good kabob? Hand embroidery. Dot painting. Typography.

I am turning my writing hobby which I had indulged in over the years creating characters and writing stories here on FRC and another server, and in some online PnP, into a second career of sorts. I am publishing my second book, a collection of short stories called Tales from the Peninsula, next week on Amazon. There is no D&D but there is some science fiction, horror, paranormal, psychological thriller, youth drama, historical drama, and action comedy.

Spent the day making liquor. I've made 46/52 gallons so far this season, and I still have a BUNCH of crab apples I could turn into hard cider, but I'll have to wait until some of these can be filtered into secondary. I'm gonna have to buy more carboys i.imgur.com/Xor1DhM.jpg

I just published my sequel to Tales from the Peninsula on Amazon, suitably titled More Tales from the Peninsula. I spent ten months with my sci-fi/fantasy writers group editing it. Very happy with the result of this new anthology. The experience I gained from years of playing on FRC - creating characters, writing plots and backstories, really helped me hone my skill at storytelling. Like the first book, this one covers multiple genres including science fiction, paranormal, murder mystery, and historical drama.
