Best of luck! Stay safe! If someone knocks on your door, make sure its not a hurricane. They're tricky.
In all seriousness, be careful, yah?

OH MAN!!!! I guess our date is off then .... AHHHH! I even told my wife that I would be playing with you on Tuesday night! I told her, "Vind and I have some serious make out time ... errr ... vampire slaying time coming up". RAAARRRGHHHH! *goes to Louisiana and casts "Kill hurricane"* There, that should work. Dont you wish you would have just stayed in montana now? Well dude, be careful. My wife was watching the weather channel and said that if you go to the superdome (or whatever the place is) they will provide shelter but no food. Also, if Baton Rouge gets hit bad, the whole place will take like 6months to drain. Hey! Perhaps this is the perfect time for you to come visit me! I'll pay for your gas. Later man.

you know what, i totally know what you need to do to weather that storm (i saw it in a movie ;D ). go out in a field, find a nice half-rotten wooden shed full of dangerous sharp farming tools and use your normal leather belt to secure yourself to the waterpipes there... ;D twister anyone?
no seriously, good luck and i hope the hurricane doesn't smash too many things in your neighbourhood or anything.

Wait a sec, do you guys in Europe have any gigantic natural disasters like us in the US?

i live in denmark, and the biggest hazzard nature has to offer is the badger... we don't have hurricanes, floods, tsunamies, vulcanos or any kinda of natural disasters... i remember one time a few years back, winds reached hurricane speed, and everyone was freaking out, but that wasn't even a hurricane. that was just a bad storm...

He could always come out to RPG Central where I live. Just moved to VA and half of the people in my apartment are RPG dorks... So much so, we will randomly break out character sheets and dice and start playing.

I have been looking at some of the images emerging from this storm, and have to mention that the devastation there looks a little more than terrible.
It is difficult to bring words to something like this... all I can say is that my thoughts are with anyone caught in it's path. I truly hope all of our friends are safe and secure during this awful tragedy.

hey gang, thanks for all the knd words
I did fine up here, Iam a bit north west of where the Hurricane passed, so we just got some crazy bad weather and winds. but the areas farther south weren't so lucky as I am sure you have all seen. I have family down there, and unfortunatly none of the freaking phones work. but this ain't the first hurricane we have sat through! heh. anyway, fear not, Hroth, we still got our date tonight, hijynx galore for the origional FRC goofball dou! and Kenny, seriously, careful of those badgers...thems are mean critters! ;D hahahaha I got a really good laugh out of that. See ya all tonight gang!

hehehe well i'm glad my post could at least amuse you, although i'm still sure it's the most useless one in this topic so far. how nice it is to live in a tiny country far away from anything remotely dangerous... i just have one question though: how do you americans dial phone numbers like 1-800-HELPNOW? seriously i thought those phone numbers was just something made up by the directors of hollywood 'cause they weren't allowed to use actual phone numbers in their movies... us mortal europeans only have number dials on our phones.

The keypads on our phones have letters that correspond to numbers on them... as an example, the #2 is assigned A,B and C... the #3 is D,E and F... I think it's how we got to the moon before anyone else. ;D

I work in health care, and tragedies like this always take at least my words away, this is when we feel so weak and powerless, we can cure the body sometimes, but in such cases we don't have a chance. Let's pray for all, at least this we can do.
