Custom Spells
These spells are available via tokens.
Teleport
- Transports the caster to a town or other well known location
- More locations will be added over time
Mass Teleport
- Transports the caster and party members grouped nearby to a town or other well known location
Storm Weapon
- Allows the call lightning spell to be channeled into a temporary electrical enchantment on a weapon (stats as darkfire below).
Sonic Weapon
- Allows the wounding whispers spell to be channeled into a temporary sonic enchantment on a weapon (stats as darkfire below).
Siphoning Sting
- Allows the healing sting spell to be channeled into a temporary vampiric regeneration effect that increases with druid caster level.
Modified Spells
Buffs
Darkfire, Flame Weapon: 3 turns/level.
Items are available to let darkfire & flame weapon give frost, acid or lightning elemental damage instead of flame (which remains the default).
Damage stacks with existing damage bonus, but at a lower progression.
No existing "general" damage bonus on the weapon:
- caster level 1-9: +2 damage
- caster level 10-19: +1d4 damage
- caster level 20+: +1d6 damage
Existing "general" damage bonus on the weapon:
- caster level 1-9: +1 damage
- caster level 10-19: +2 damage
- caster level 20+: +1d4 damage
Greater Magic Weapon, Keen Edge: 2 turns/level.
Magic Vestement: 2 turns/level.
Divine Favor: Damage type altered from magical to divine.
Battletide: Damage type altered from magical to divine. The negative effect is now a single impact when cast, like prayer, instead of an aura.
Ethereal Visage: 1 turn/level
Magic Circle against Good/Evil:
- Changed to be Mass Protection from Good/Evil.
- Instead of an aura, it buffs anyone within 15" with the same effect that protection from good/evil gives.
Blade Thirst:
- Grants +1 enhancement per 4 caster levels & caps at +5 as well as bonus divine damage versus all favored enemies
- The slashing restriction on the spell has been removed
- Duration changed to 2 turns per caster level.
- Divine damage begins at 1 point and scales to 2 points at 20 ranger and 3 points at 30 ranger.
Greater Magic Fang:
- Also grants the Attack Bonus & Damage Reduction to your currently summoned/empathed Animal/Magicl Beast (doesn't include the damage or DR bypass) following default scaling.
Tenser's Transformation:
- BAB Increase similar to Divine Power
- +4 STR, DEX, CON, and Natural AC
- +5 Fortitude Saving Throw
- 100% Arcane and Divine Spell Failure while in effect (including item cast spells)
Healing
Heal - Changed to 150 Hit Point healing.
Mass heal - Changed to 250 Hit Point healing.
Cure/Inflict Light Wounds: Heals/harms 1d8 + 2 per caster level up 10
Cure/Inflict Moderate Wounds: Heals/harms 2d8 + 2 per caster level up 20
Cure/Inflict Serious Wounds: Heals/harms 4d8 + 2 per caster level up to 30
Cure/Inflict Critical Wounds: Heals/harms 6d8 + 2 per caster level up to 40
Healing Circle: Heals/harms 3d8 + 2 per caster level up to 40
Regeneration and Monsterous Regeneration
- Monstrous Regeneration: 30 rds. + 1 rd/2 levels
- Regeneration: 30 rds. + 1rd/level
Damaging Spells
Combust: 2d6 fire damage +2 per caster level (max +20) and then 1d6 + 1 per caster level (max 15) each subsequent round
Fireball: 1d6 per caster level up to 15d6
Lightning Bolt: 1d6 per caster level up to 15d6
Scintillating Sphere: 1d6 per caster level up to 15d6
Mestil's Acid Breath: 1d6 per caster level up to 15d6
Call Lightning: updated to cap at 15d6 damage instead of 10d6
Quillfire: damage changed to 3d8 + 1d8 damage per 2 caster levels up to 10d8.
Healing Sting: damage changed to 1d8 damage (and healing) per 2 caster levels up to 10d8.
Negative Energy Burst: 1d8 + 2 per caster level up to +40
ILMS: 1d4+1 per missile, 1 missile per caster level up to 10 (shield now grants immunity)
Firebrand: 1d6 per caster level up to 18d6.
Ball Lightning: 1d6 per caster level up to 18d6.
Cone of Cold: 1d6 per caster level up to 20d6
Chain Lightning: 1d6 per caster level up to 25d6
IGMS: 1d4+1 per missile, 1 missile per caster level up to 20 (shield now grants immunity)
Delayed Blast Fireball: 1d6 per caster level up to 25d6
Bombardment: 1d8 bludgeoning damage per caster level up to 20d8
Meteor Swarm: 10d6 + 1d6 per caster level up to 25d6
Greater Ruin: 40d8 positive energy to one target
Hell Ball: 20d6 fire damage + 20d6 acid damage
Harm - Changed to 150 damage.
Storm of Vengeance - Changed to an instant impact, rather than AoE over time. Now does 6d6 acid and 9d6 electrical. Stun lasts 3 rounds (still reflex to avoid stun and half damage).
Other Attack Spells
Word of Faith
- Any enemies with 4 Hit Dice or less die instantly.
- Enemies from 5 Hit Dice to 10 Hit Dice are stunned.
- Enemies from 11 Hit Dice and up are blinded as per the duration.
Bigby's Forceful Hand
- Now compares the caster's primary attribute modifier*0.6 vs victim's strength modifier.
- Duration changed to 2 rounds plus 1 round per 10 caster levels.
- Range changed from long to short.
Bigby's Grasping Hand
- The caster's grapple check is now the caster's primary attribute*0.7 + caster level.
- Duration changed to 2 rounds plus 1 round per 10 caster levels.
- Freedom of movement prevents paralysis (as per PnP description)
Bigby's Crushing Hand
- This spell now behaves like an improved forceful hand instead of an improved grasping hand
- Now compares the caster's primary attribute modifier*0.8 vs victim's strength modifier.
- Duration changed to 2 rounds plus 1 round per 10 caster levels.
Summon Spells
Control Undead: Duration lowered to 1 turn/level.
Dragon Knight: Duration increased to 1 turn/level.
Elemental Swarm: Duration lowered from 24 hours to 4 turns/level. This will constitute 1 turn/ Elemental.
Gate: 1 round/level.

Misc Spells
Time Stop
- Hostile spells now cancel time stop.
Greater Sanctuary
- Duration reduced to 1 round per 3 caster levels
True Seeing
- Functions as See Invisibility, Ultravision, and +2 Spot and Search per caster level.
- In addition to the listed mechanical functionality, True Seeing is roleplayed as seeing through illusion, polymorph, and transmutation effects to reveal a creature's true form. (This reveals the humanoid form for player characters.)
Clairaudience/Clairvoyance:
- Duration increased to 1 turn/level.
Amplify:
- Duration increased to 1 turn/level but bonus lowered to +10 to listen.
Find Traps:
- Only detects traps, will not destroy them
Knock:
- Size changed to 10" radius.
- Only opens locks of DC 35 or lower.
Greater Dispelling:
- Break Enchantment feature added, providing capability to remove petrification upon a successful caster level check against the petrifying individual or creature. The standard caster level cap of 15 applies.
Mordenkainen's Disjunction:
- Break Enchantment feature added, providing capability to remove petrification upon a successful caster level check against the petrifying individual or creature. No caster level cap applies and the dispelling character receives a +3 bonus to their caster level check.
Raise Dead:
- Killing and raising a petrified character will no longer succeed. Petrification effects must be removed by Stone to Flesh or the Break Enchantment feature added to Greater Dispelling and Mordenkainen's Disjunction.
Resurrection:
- Killing and raising a petrified character will no longer succeed. Petrification effects must be removed by Stone to Flesh or the Break Enchantment feature added to Greater Dispelling and Mordenkainen's Disjunction.
