Pett stared at the wall a good long while before shouting, “Shondar! How long have these bounties been nailed to this wall? Seems they grow with all these darned adventuring folk flooding the lands. I hear them all gabbing about wanting coin and glory like greedy dwarves in a mine, but where are they when we need them?”
He snorted and continued his tirade as Shondar simply nodded his head in agreement, “But Pett,” he whined out mockingly, “that’s not enough money for me to chase down those criminals! Well I’ve had it with constantly seeing these wanted posters so I guess we’ll offer something that’ll make those lollygagging loafers actually do some good hard work. Spread the word Shondar that we’re going to not only pay a bounty, to any that can actually bring in any of these murdering scum suckers, but we’ll offer a special honorary membership with the Red Ravens provided of course that they ain’t criminals themselves. Yup, I think that might be the cheese we need to running those mice where we need them.”
