I am aware of the illegal faiths on FRC.
Multiple locations list illegal worship as a crime. My question is, what does this constitute? Are you for example up for arrest simply for admitting you venerate an illegal faith? Or is it preaching openly that crosses the line? Mainly after a more detailed explanation of what the crime is determined as.

As the law does not express specifically what constitutes worship, it is left up to law enforcement to interpret. This would vary from community to community. Some communities in Cormyr may interpret this law more specifically or more liberally than others. In some communities, it may be as little as an admission of a faith or a profession of worship, while in others it may require that the offender be caught praying, or that the character is observed to have divine powers after a profession of faith.
As all the illegal faiths are seriously bad news, something as simple as an open admission of worshiping an illegal faith could land a character in legal trouble. Luckily for worshipers of the faiths on the illegal list, almost all of them prefer to operate in secret or understand the sometimes-necessity of doing so. (I'm sure Banites would prefer to worship openly, and see the other faiths driven before them, but even they know it's better to keep a low profile.)

Been running my cleric of Gargauth a lot recently and just wanted to make sure I understood the breadth of that particular law.
