The following notices are posted in Suzail, at the gates, along the roads and markets, and other public places. A copy or two each find their way to Marsember, Arabel, Immersea, and Valkur's Roar. The parchment and writing is plain but the seal stands out.
People of Suzail and the Forest Kingdom,
I solemnly write to inform you that the sentence of high justice will be performed on Midsummer's Day on the grounds of the Suzail Courthouse on the following convicted criminals for crimes of murder:
~Abii of Cyric, Outlaw of the Realm
~Sir Chell of Milil
~Shiv of Talos
Let it also be known that Cassius the Milkman, also sentenced to high justice, was murdered in prison by his cellmate Shiv of Talos.
The fulfillment of sentence will take place at the 9th hour and will be public. The public is permitted to attend but all weapons must be peace bonded; all heads bare of helmet, hat, or hood; and may not have magic cast upon them while in attendance.
In the interim, it would do all Cormyrians well to say a prayer for those convicted and those who must carry out the sentence alike.
In Service to Suzail,
Herris of Denier High Judge of Suzail

Across from the courthouse, and adjacent to the War Wizard's tower the doors of the Temple of the Defenders are opened. Dreshae steps out of the temple, having finished her morning prayer, armed and clad in her Purple Dragon's uniform.
She goes between the courthouse, plaza, and tower on a brief patrol, ensuring that precautions are in place, and the area is secured.
A quiet prayer is offered, and the woman dons her helmet, beginning her watch of that area for the day.

Tal would ponder after morning prayers.
It is unfortunate when lives are lost due to poor choices. Is it a necessity? Perhaps to ensure stability.
Still... I don't think I could bring myself to watch a public execution just for the sake of watching it.
For the interim at least, he would move onto his morning fitness regime.

*Jalori stops in front of a sign, puffing on her pipe, smoke trickling out the corners of her mouth.*
"Let me get this straigh', I'm jus' tryin' ta wrap my head aroun' Cormyrean jus'ice. So first, a couple o' paladins kill a couple o' murderers. Then, they raise the murderers from the dead an' put the paladins in jail for 'assaultin' the murderers, like they did somethin' wrong. Next, they take the murderers they jus' raised, and which they just punished the paladins fer killin', an' now they're gonna put the murderers back down again, like they want 'em dead after all? Wouldn' it o' been a lot simpler jus' ta leave the murderers dead instead o' raisin' 'em, an' leave the paladins alone abou' it?
*She walks away shaking her head.* "What do I know, I'm jus' some country hick."

A beautiful elven woman dressed in blue can be seen around Suzail. She takes every opportunity to be at Chells cell in the War Wizards tower. She would seem very distraught and tears flow down at each opportune moment as she thinks of tomorrow..
