The DM's in the Australian evenings/Euro Mornings are looking to gauge player availability for some quests we would like to run.
Speaking for myself, I have been online ready to run events but I'm all alone!
I've added a poll to see what days might be best for people so we can help make things a little more exciting during the traditional quiet times.
You can choose up to three options.
Events would be run around the time of this post.

It's not so much the day as the time for me.
This is early in my day where I'm busy (apart from the odd break where I can grab a bite and a coffee/tea and sit down and check the internet briefly, like now) doing chores, looking after dad, or failing that if that wasn't the case- working.
I realise your TZ and there's not much you can do about it- but EU tz desperately needs some attention still- I'd love to participate in these events, but I just can't until alater time in the day.

and voted ... but, yes, availability is not the same on every day. For example Mon-Wed evenings are best for me, Thu-Sun daytime is best. Given how I don't like to be time-constrained for events, I picked my favorite days according to when I am most likely to have a decent amount of time in one chunk.

The day of a week or even the time of a week doesn't hinder me if I have enough notification.
During Shieldmeet last year, Hawkrune bent over backwards to try and forecast pre-determined dates ahead of time and I was arguably able to attend 80% of the sessions.
Often times plots and events are launched and announced the same week of the very event. There's many of us that have a scheduled work week and to suddenly flip things around to try to attend the event isn't very easy. I /sometimes/ can get lucky but I'm sure others can't.
An actual /day/ preference for me is Sunday as i typically have it off, which is technically monday for australia.
Gimmie your shoes pith! gimmie!
Edit: I think for DM Ponymaster's Crucible event, I just played hookie.

Like a few others here it is never the day so much as it is the time of day. Still a good idea to at least gauge things. For me that works out to 1 AM to 4 AM mountain standard time as being the best time slot. Work evenings lol

Same here, my schedule gives me solid times when i can log in or not. But doesn't mean i can be there every day.
Also Ponymaster wanted to run new events around european times as i haven't had the chance to take part in anything anyway yet. But i didn't see new events since then.
I can manage different times, but i hope the events won't start too late. I normally have to go offline at 10 PM cet latest. So i would be happy if things could be scheduled or announced that start early enough.

We're never going to be able to include everyone all of the time, it's just the nature of timezones and work/life schedules. However, this is helpful for ensuring that we include as many of you as we can.
It looks like Thursday-Sunday will suit most people in the time-slots that I am able to run events in.
I will aim to move the event I was going to do on a Wednesday to Thursday/Friday.
