Johannes Hoff
Knight and Defender of Thur, Her interests and Wards.
Johannes Hoff was a lesser nobleman. He rescinded claims to any lines in service to Sune.
Starting out on the bottom rung of service Hoff has risen from a guardsman to become one of Sune's cherished; a Knight of the Ruby Rose.
He is fiercely loyal to his faith and should his Order issue a decree it will be obeyed without question, such is his oath and duty.
Johannes stands a shade above six feet tall and is fairly lean. His armour is clean in style, with imagery of roses lightly engraved into his pauldrons. He lacks the pomp and circumstance of the ceremonial pieces other Paladins often adorn themselves with. As a renowned tournament fighter in Thur and its surrounding states Hoff is regarded as a fearsome foe in the joust and sword and shield arena.
He is a handsome man of tanned skin fair hair and blue eyes that amplify his smile. He is also charismatic and charming when called for and can dance with some skill. That said, when in service to the crown outside of court he is prone to drop morays and protocol, preferring to be called by name than any given title whenever possible, only using his status when he knows it will be beneficial to the mission at hand. His right forearm is sleeved with rose imagery as thorned stems wrap around his arm in a meandering way to classic ruby red roses in various states of growth from fresh buds to fully bloomed flowers.
At his core Johannes is a hopeless romantic and his holy grail of quests is to help two star-crossed lovers escape the clutches of their over bearing parents and elope to marry in secret.
