Here in the great state of WA heavy winds and rains are predicted through the weekend and possibly through Monday. Not as bad as FLA and hurricanes but could cause intermittent outages. So apologies in advance if all the sudden I go poof and do not return.
I know there are a few other WA players here too.

Good luck!
I'm going to be in your state in just a few weeks, drinking all your coffee and inspecting your karaoke bars.

Well at least where I live we did not get ,much heavy weather. On one TV station, the weather people apologized for the overkill on the warnings.

Speaking of snow, WA State is getting scattered snowfall. Some area's actual snow and some just snow rain. It was mostly rain with a few snowflakes when I came to work. Not sure what it will be when I get ready to leave.

It was 21 deg. when I left the house, this morning ... and unfortunately not on the centigrade scale. Incidentally a great illustration of how great persuade skills sometimes just aren't enough. Total waste of breath when my colleague tried to persuade me to do a 10K run with him, today. At 50 deg with a good roll, maybe. No snow, yet, though.

Well the snow came. Naturally our street and driveway got covered. But the temperatures are warming and the snow melting. Was not too deep.

Jeez, enough already. You would think Seattle is on the east coast.
Though only snow on the roof, it is snowing where I work. However it seems more like rain then snow.
I just hope it stays like that.....

Coming off an entire February dominated by 70-80 degree weather at the 36th parallel, I for one welcome our new Arctic Overlords.
If this keeps up, the Florida orange orchards will have to move to NC and Virginia.

I'm in Southern California, and it's been really strange this winter. There's been all this wet stuff coming out of the sky, and I don't know what to make of it.

I'm in Mackay (pronounced ma-KUY, weirdly enough). About...2 meters above sea level and a block from the beach. Stay north, you bitch! Debbie Does Townsville, or at least in that neck of the woods. In any case, if I go dark for a few days...that's why. If I go dark for longer...probably also why. lol

Good luck man!
Try to avoid doing any freaky fuddyduddy *chickenwing* at your wife's work place.

Wishing you all good luck and hoping the winds subside soon.
Hope you managed to take the camping gear with you to the high rise.

Take care and best wishes to ride out the storm. Only 2 meters above sea level yikes! Glad you left for higher grounds

Well it's what happens when your all upside down to everyone else! I'm honestly suprised this doesn't happen more often, and you should all sort yourselves out and get yourselves the right way up as soon as possible!
...seriously though, hope you all get through it without any grief.

No idea how I still have power here...and internet? hah...nutso. Umberlee's a bitch, mate. This storm's stalled out at sea, too. At the least, she's not expected to make landfall at high-tide, now. Hurray!
