So I have been receiving conflicting/unconfirmed information from various players and wish clarity on some things. 1. What restrictions, if any are there regarding taking RDD as a class provided one meets the mechanical requirements aside from the 1 PRC limit? 2. Are there any RP restrictions regarding RDD choice, is it limited only to fire breathing dragon ancestors/bloodlines, how does one go about getting different color wings if applicable? If a PC can take RDD as a non-fire breathing descendant how if any do they obtain a widget to alter the or do they just not use said ability? 3. If someone takes RDD, can they gain Draconic as a language? Can they gain it as a language after the INT modifier increase?

On FRC RDD is not a restricted class. If your character meets the prerequisites the class can be taken. The limit to one prestiege class per character applies. 2. We allow the RDD class to be taken to represent characters having Red, Gold, or Brass dragon ancestry. There are other fire type dragons that can be used for ancestry of these characters but anything beyond Red, Gold, or Brass dragon heritage requires the approval of an application sent to the DM team. 3. Characters have potential to learn the draconic language by having an open language slot available (having more intelligence base modifier points than known languages excluding free languages). To earn a new language after character creation the player of the character should notify the DM team that the character is trying to learn a new language. The DM team will observe the in character roleplay effort to learn the new language over time and award the language in due course if justified by the effort. Hopefully this clarifies

Cool thanks a ton for clearing that all up. There was a surprising lack of discernible DM stamped coverage for RDD so this helps a ton.

If your character is a dragon disciple of another type of fire dragon besides red, such as gold or brass, or one of the (unlisted) ones that requires approval, a DM can assist with getting the appropriate wing color.
I know it wasn't expressly part of the question, but I would also remind potential dragon disciples that playing a natural half-dragon on FRC is not permitted. Dragon disciples eventually become mechanically equivalent to half-dragons (with the addition of wings that medium-sized half-dragons don't have), acquiring what is normally an inherited template at level 10 in the prestige class. They are not true half-dragons, with any actual dragon ancestry being much much thinner.
Becoming a dragon disciple is, like taking any class, a character's choice and requires effort and pursuit on the character's part. It's not something that manifests inexplicably that the character has to learn to live with. The character is a disciple of draconic ways and chooses to invoke changes in himself/herself. The individual effects might be things the character has to learn to live with (scales, claws, wings, etc.), but the decision to cause them to manifest rests with the character.
I am not saying your dragon disciple is not following these points. I truly don't know who your dragon disciple is. I am repeating them again as a general reminder to would-be dragon disciples.
