Upon the hill, not far from the edge of the Bramblewood appears a darkly-clad elven maid. Her destiny is an old, gnarled tree overlookig the town. She stops close to the roots, looking quietly, completantively between the roots. Only a trained eye can ever notice that the ground there, have been disturbed between one and two years ago, resulting in a bump.
After a while, the figure bends down leaving a flower on top of the bump. She rubs her face with her hands, and silently vanishes again.

The figure returns to the spot, repeating the procedure.
This time around it is apparent that she is upset, rather than contemplative.

A single, cut flower can be seen between the roots.

This time, a neatly-folded note is left instead of a flower.
Written in Elven, in Espruar script it says "I will not forget."

This time it's a crumpled note. It lies in a weird corner, possibly having been thrown.
Wrtitten in Common, it says "I want to Punch You in the face".

During the passing months, the small bump between the roots of the tree have developed a small pile of dried flowers and unreadable notes. The Elfess doesn't neglect to visit this spot at least once a week.

* A passing Dwarf clad in black armor sees the elf fussing around in the tree roots.*
"Bah! Insufferable Elfish Tree Witches! Why doesn't she just make her nest up in the tree like all the rest of them?"

*A tall man, cloaked in green passes by the tree one day and noticed the growth of flowers. He bends down and brushes his fingers over the vegetation at the base of the tree. He notices the crumpled up paper. Reaching out to grab them, his fingers carefully unfold them and looks them both over curiously.*
Littering out here....blasted adventurers. *he mutters quietly under his breath as he cleans the 'garbage' within the beautiful growth of fresh plants at the base of the tree and continues on his way"

Upon her next visit, the elfess stares quietly at the tree roots with knotted brow.
After a while she murmurs "How fitting". Then she turns and walks off.

Having been left undisturbed for a while, the spot is again being visited by the elfess.
After the latest visit, a carefully folded note has been left among the freshly blooming spring flowers. Written in a flowy Espruar it states in Elven:
"I forgive you and I hope you have been able to forgive yourself."
