Hey,
sorry, this information is probably right in front of my face. I have looked for it though!
When someone multi-classes, is there a minimum number of levels in all classes requirement?
I ask specifically because my dwarf spellsword has been rather focused on one of his 3 classes due to RP pressures. So before I made a mistake I'd like to know!
Cheers, Mkable

Cheers, Mkable While level-dipping isn't encouraged, it isn't against the general multi-classing rules either. Long long ago there was a minimum level "suggestion" for multi-classing, but it was done away with basically so it wasn't a nerf on those arcane archer and dragon disciple builds that gain very little from their arcane caster class and only need one caster level mechanically as a PRC requirement. So, no, there isn't a minimum level per class rule. There are many other multi-classing limitations and restrictions depending on which classes are involved, but none that say if you take a level in wizard you must take at least three, or if you take a level in ranger you must take at least three. For the prestige classes that do require applications, an obvious intent to level-dip for prestige-class features is something that is still looked at and considered during the application's review.
