Ahmed waited patiently at the Enclave's private dock for the shipment of construction and work equipment. The day was young, a cool breeze coming off the seas to meet the warmth of the land. The sound of song and seabirds hung in the breezy air as the water lapped against the dock's pylons.

Molinka was with Ahmed to assist the inventorying and logistics of the shipment. She busies herself by making sure everything is accounted for and its in its appropriate place.

Azela moves about eyeing everything, alternating between suspicion and curiosity. Taking direction from Ahmed and Molinka, she does what is asked to the best of her ability... occasionally requiring a bit of explaination on the concepts that are new to her, but moving efficiently.

Closer to midday, the ship finally arrives... late. It is a caravel of sorts, its design distinctively of Aloar, but seemingly hastily retrofitted... more than half of her war platforms removed to make more room for the containers of varied things. She looks like a fast ship, in once piece but obviously having taken part in a recent scuffle. Most likely pirates.
Nodding to both Molinka in greeting and motioning Azela to aid her, Ahmed unlocks the dock gates and makes his way down the dock, notably avoiding the dock hands and sailors, busy with their work as the vessel slowed into the port. Their calls quick and their actions orderly. There was something to be said for skilled freemen. Not much, but some.
He would speak to the dock master near an entrance to the warehouse, making sure the interior was organized with space cleared well enough for the quick movement of goods and supplies.
The sun was high above now, hot and shrinking shadows to a minimal size.

The wind created a draft as it came off the sea into the large building.
Within the warehouse, Ahmed spoke politely but with a harsh tone to a Rasheman freeman. It would seem that a rather expensive bottle of 1322 Oraundas Haeltower was missing from its casket... and it was not missing when it first came onto the boat.
Ahmed would order the Rasheman back to work, but made note to revisit the issue later. Manners, can be a very deadly thing. He then continued his inventory of the wines for The Desert Rose tavern...

If Molinka got involved in the matter, she'd recommend to have the man's wages garnished to pay for the wine and to have him carefully watched.
"Perhaps a security team" shed eventually offer to Ahmed. "Officers should be proper Thayans, of course, but perhaps let them police their own" said as she gestures to the workers

Ahmed would take his time making note of the various bottles... marking the last batch of 1377 Utterdark to be sold at a 10% discount.
Listening to Molinka's council he would pause in thought. Nodding ever so slightly he would speak,
"Perhaps a security person is a good solution. What are your thoughts on a reward... not for the item taken but for information that would lead to the culprit. Money talks, as things are." He would then glance over to Azela and raise a brow."

Perhaps some time later, Ahmed worked his way amongst the crews repaving the walkways, given the constant ebb and flow of the water, some needed to be replaced completely. His obsidian armor caught the light of the sun as he turned a corner, out of the embassy's shadow. Removing his gloves, and then beginning to loosen his gauntlets, he entered the local tailor's shop… momentous occasions required a finely tailored suit after all. //feel free to dictate the area about your character or even the general direction of the thread with whatever tickles your fancy

Molinka falls ill for a few days, bedridden. She gets cold-sweats and sleeps a lot those she fusses when away and complains how she hates that shes unable to help. During this time she tries to busy herself with paperwork between fits, the administrative work apparently not too taxing.
She recovers fairly swiftly, and appears fitter and more determined to get things done.

In his meetings about the enclave, Ahmed at times might run into or passed Molinka, his behavior might be slightly different, perhaps more cautious, even unsure, and definitely a slight hint of fear.

Deckhands, sailors, and workers report seeing a lithe form watching them from dark corners or perched in trees or from the masts of ships.
Azela keeps careful watch, not so much hiding as being "passively present." With Quill, ink, and parchment in hand... writing down everything she sees.

Anslen arrives at the dock, looking for Ahmed. Anslen doesn't see him, so he asks for him. He is wherever he is, so Anslen goes to the Inn nearest the dock to await his arrival to offer his help.

A lot of attention seems to be going in "remodeling" the look of sections of the enclave, and this is where Molinka is kept her busiest. She fusses over many details makings sure everything looks "just" right. Considerable energy goes into presentation and she makes sure the help knows how serious impressions are.

A well dressed young man in a white cloak and hood could be seen strolling about the docks, daintily consuming a meal of rice, raw fish and other exotic ingredients out of a small wooden box. He would appear to be doing mostly people watching, but would make occasional stops to converse with workers, merchants or red wizards at equal ease on the topic of the project's progress.
If challenged in any way for his presence he would be dismissive and confident to the extreme, and, rather than answer questions, would request that the challenger perform him the service of directing him to Ahmed for a business matter with a self assured grin.

Having obtained necessary work and travel papers from the renovated guardhouse, Ahmed would meet with Anslen to hand them over. He would walk passed the cruiser towards the secondary dock. One cargo ship was already docked. Further down the dock, one could see the second cargo ship just coming into port, waiting deckhands with ropes in hand watching... Ahmed would nod to Anslen.
Making way to the embassy. Ahmed might have spotted and then tilted his head slowly to the handsome fellow in orange... disappearing into the doorway.

Anslen nods and accepts the papers from the old man, just give me the direction and of an idea of what the work is. While waiting for the instruction Anslen makes his way to the docks and begins rope working, synching down ropes to the dock, gracefully tying them. Anslen enjoys offering the help to Ahmed and his group for letting him explore with them for their profits.

Molinka would make conversation with Anslen if she sees him there. The pretty woman would smile and ask him engaging questions
"I appreciate your contributions. Is there anything we can do for you? "What are your aims for the future?" "You and Ahmed seem close. How did that friendship blossom?"
After that, she'd offer to show him around if he'd like, and by him a drink at the Rose.

As he entered the Embassy, Ahmed turned to watch Anslen and Molinka converse in the distance... he would soon disappear in the hallways of the building, making way to a boardroom for a private meeting to come.
Setting various permits, invoices and other documents upon a long cherry wood table, Ahmed would go about removing his leather gloves and adamantine gauntlets.

At the Rose...
Cherie looks to be working the front tonight. She skillfully greets Alexial, having Glen bring over the wine menu... it does not seem to be a place that serves brandy. Snapping her fingers to the pianist to play something mellow but upbeat, she turns her attention back to Alexial, propping her chin on her hand and offering a grin when she asks... "Hullo my dear, vat vill it be tonight?"

"At once madam..." Cheri points to an item on the menu, quickly showing it to Glen with a slight of hand, he would nod and head to the back with a ladder. Soon after he would return with a bottle, and an appropriate wine glass. Cheri would uncork and then pour a bit... "1342 Jalanthar Amber" she would state before servicing another customer.

Ahmed would make note of the letter... ordering a workman to replace the door soon after. He would make note of the location, inform an associate and then make plans soon after for the meeting to come.

A wizard's imp would fly across the warehouse, and land near Azela's location.. scuttling close to her, only to leap forward with paws up and a toothy grin. "Mahrrrrr!" It would shout, for no apparent reason, then fly off from the direction it came.

Anslen arrives at the dock, looking for Ahmed. Anslen doesn't see him, so he asks for him. He is wherever he is, so Anslen goes to the Inn nearest the dock to await his arrival to offer his help. The cargo vessel 'Cat's Grace', was heavy in the water... her hold full of assorted goods. She had recently made port near Amn, picking up a considerable load of "Chuk ko let Ko-Ko plants" and "Ko Phee plants" imported from the far lands of Mazteca via a Lantaneese trading company. Alaor sailors would shout calls, signaling the stern line to be tied... then the bow... and adjusting the stern line as it came closer to dock... the dock was as busy as a beehive.

She tells the merchant she will get back to him. After that, shed do a bit of research to see if that is in fact considered "The Marsember Style" and if it is even fashionable in the first place. If they both are, and they fit in with the natural aesthetics of the building they she will inform the merchant that they will go with the curvy, expensive models. If the man's claims where flim-flam, she'd consider a different merchant altogether.
