For those who don't know, I am to be married to my long time girlfriend this Saturday, May 20th. After five years of being together, even through FRC , and a year and a half engagement, the time is finally upon us. While this is an off topic fun topic, I am the server admin, so I need to report that I will be out from today through June 3rd. I am guessing that the server will go down at some point during my absence, but you never know. Hopefully it will stay up for the vast majority of my absense. If it should happen to go down, I will be back on the 3rd to get it back up and running. In any event, this is a really happy time for me, and I am very excited to announce my marriage. Cheers FRC!

Have fun, and enjoy your magnificent day. If the server goes down, dont worry about it, perhaps some of us will go out and enjoy the sun.

Congratulations! Welcome to the establishment. Check your bachelorhood at the door and remember to pick up the towels from the floor.

Just found out my baby brother is getting hitched, too. He was so young, too. Oh well, time for a good 'ole punk rock wedding.
Congratsia and good luck.

*points to all the previous congrats*... what they said. ;D Seriously, I got married two years ago and you just have to train her like I did. When I get home from work, the computer is on and more often than not, she's opened a beer for me... hehe. Have a very good day!

Been married 11 years now, through good and bad and I can honestly say I wouldn't trade either for anything imaginable. It's a wonderful, crazy, challenging, blissful ride and I wish you all the luck on yours. Like Jen said though, pick up those towels. Oh...and remember the toilet seat also..thats a biggy.

Congrats to the lucky new couple.
May you have 10d20 x infinity days of happiness and etc.
I'm wondering if the items your were dragging when leaving the chapel in your chosen vehicle were game related.
...dice?...character sheets?...random equipment?...kobolds?...
...anyway...as you were...

Being together for so many years before marrige will ensure a less bumpy ride. My parents dated and lived together from 1984 to 1987. Sure their first marriges were toatal failures as they only dated their first lovers for 3 or 4 months then decided to get married only to find out that their "lovers" were REAL dicks once they really got to know them. I give you a pat and congrats agian. *Holds up bottle of wine* To a long solid yet smooth sweet and flavorful marriage, may the gods bless you with many beautiful children (That is if your ready XD).

Just checking in from the hotel in Crete! ;D Everything is wonderful, this is probably the most beautiful place on earth. Love Crete, love the people and most of all the food and hospitality. We are headed to an island today that was a Venetian Fortress that held out for 40 years after the rest of Crete had fallen to the Byzantine Empire. Then it became a leper colony, so it is full of history and wonder. Saw a 4000 year old palace at Knossos yesterday... All in all, best vaction ever! And, I am now happily married. All of my best to FRC! Cheers!

why do i see a venetian fort coming to cormyr soon? manned by guards who throw their own toes and fingers at you in a stunning flangy attack for save vs disease at negative 10?
Congrats man...being married rocks cause unlike single guys you now know how to match your belt and shoes, and besides just paper towels as toilet paper, Kleenex and plates....you actually have paper towels, Kleenex, and soft toilet paper.

Mmm m match what is this word match? *wearing two diffrent maccosins and an almost dead belt with holes in it and rips repaired with eletric tape* what is this word? gf taught me another word called organize.. *shrugs and rips his cleaned clothes out of the dryer does not even fold then simply craming them into diffrent drwers and on the bed, the lamp, the table, the shelf, the door knob, the window and the floor* she is teaching me this word today called "picking up" ;Dlol

Ok, words of advice gathered from my various, previously married gamer friends: DON'T MARRY SOMEONE WHO IS NOT A GAMER OR WHO DOESN'T UNDERSTAND YOUR NEED TO PLAY, DM, CREATE THINGS FOR GAMES, ETC. I've known quite a few guys who end up getting hooked up to non-gamer, pretty girly-girls who end up sucking the life out of them because they don't understand the need to game. Don't let this happen to you. This is for everyone in general. And for Justi... You'd better bring us all some cake man!
