They're both poets so its a perfect match. Here's Slate's improv poem to Fenix while they were imprisoned together:
They came in one day and took Fenix away. Off to the gallows they go! They bound up his hands and spit down on the man. Then the blood started to flow! Off with his head, now he was dead. The children could finally play! They'd kick it around til it flew off from the ground, "Oh what a wonderful head" they would say!
