Background:
The Triadic Order of the Divine Resurrection was founded in the year 1377 DR in the Cormyrian Kingdom and was given permission to operate by the approval of the churches of Tyr, Torm, and Ilmater. While not originally intended to be an Order but merely the organization of the Triadic community in Cormyr, fate played it's hand and the pieces of the puzzle fit together. Velisario Chrysosnomos first recruited his brother in faith Holance Tanars into the concept of a religious order, and soon enough Henrik, Armias, and Adeodatus were within the ranks of what would be the Divine Resurrection.
Organization:
The Order is an autocephalus entity under the larger umbrella of the three Triadic churches. It maintains the Creed of the Triad which states that "Tyr is the sword of justice whose wrath punishes the wicked, Torm is the shield of faith who protects the weak, and Ilmater is the beating heart who tempers each with mercy and compassion." Under this, the Divine Resurrection is a force which intends to combat evil and minimalize it's influence. To take on the task, it's members are tasked to the Penance of Duty as well as the Triad Crusade all the while being ever-alert for the presence and agents of evil and chaos.
The Knighthood is broken into two sections; Templars and Hospitallers. Templars are the strong arm of the Order while the Hospitallers see to the relief of suffering of both, ally and foe alike.
A council governs the Order, with the Grandmaster as a first among equals. The other council seats are that of the Chaplain, the Marshal, and the Standard-Bearer as well as a rotating position. Each member of the council is allowed one vote which includes abstaining. In the case of a tie, the Grandmaster's vote tips the scales. Open discussion is expected at council meetings. Appealing decisions is granted under the system.
Ruled by High Hammer Desdemona Rand, a position of Bearer of Grievances has been created to review all complaints lobbied and filed against the Divine Resurrection and the members therein.
