Can Red Dragons from the Dragon Knight epic spell be role played as a non-fire breathing dragon type or any type of non-red dragon for that matter?

If some DM's say yes and some say no, then I think a ruling needs to be made... It's not a good thing to RP your dragon as one kind and then months later be told that no, it has to be THIS kind and then another says, no, it has to be the kind that's summoned with no substitutions...

So, for the sake of character consistency, can we have a ruling?

From what I have seen, you can easily roleplay it as another type of dragon. However I belueve in another thread I saw a dm say it must be of the fire breathing type specifically

I know not every DM feels the same about this, though. That's why I was asking for some consensuses.

You might want to post this in the DM Q&A forum. You'd probably get a faster DM ruling.

That being said I am also interested in seeing a ruling.
