Another gigabyte of RAM (1024mb) for the server hardware!
This should be here by Thursday or Friday, but it is purchased and and being shipped today.
This should greatly improve overall server performance.
Cheers!

All hail the mighty bringer of RAM! Does this mean the guitar player with the 'doom' song can teach it to other bards, who will appear in ever tavern, inn, road crossing, and dungeon in the land? Now, here's hoping the CAS states match up with what's already in the box....

Great Justi, as I said before to you all, just keep the excellent work and we'll be very pleased - but since Daresh talked about our dear Frubo...
Keetena already chanted a song to our doom songer (I need put her compositions in another place here, hahaha - sorry my errors in english and riddles, not so easy to a non-english person)
it's
Doomdoomdoomdoom so are all doomed? Could someone save the imposing and coming doomdoomdoomdoom you walk on tombs ran to skeletons and zombies name your gods but you are doomdoomdoomdoomdoom I'm not isane as everyone said just the same I saw in the past brave in heart? for what it'll serve? against the imposed doomdooomdoomdoom

Oh, it will I have assurances that everything will be nice and in order... and dare I say this will probably increase capacity and help to avaoid the dreaded "c" word.

I, like most every other player, appreciate the fact that you and the other dms put so much time and effort into the server. Not only do this, but you improve the server out of your own pocket. I would just like to say: Thank you.

Justi, you are the best dude, ever. Seriously man. I'd get you a milkshake, or something.... but I don't think it would be good by the time it got to you.

Oh, it's all good. Thank you for the kind words. This makes our server equipment ultra-powerful. I have been working to limit those things on the server that lead to instability, and hopefully this will lead to a new era of stability and faster responces from the server machine. The stuff I got is top notch and we should be in the realm of the best servers around now... We are hyper threaded, RAM'ed out greased lightning as soon as this latest upgrade gets here! I am looking forward to it, and it is just in time for some nice upcoming expansions I have been working on. There are a couple of others on the way from the DM Team too, so things are gonna be swell. Cheers!

Woot! It's here and the server is running with a nice RAM upgrade! Enjoy! P.S. I can tell it is already having an impact on server performance... normally the server idles (with people on it) at around 40% of machine capacity... now it is down to a STUNNING 5%-15%. This will rock.

It's my pleasure...
Also, I noticed I had the paged memory setting on way too low for the new ram capacity, so I upped it today.
This should also help in performance.
Cheers!
