Vall Sianodel was born and raised in a remote village near Ashabenford in the Dalelands. As a young elf he was very care free and was never really phased by small conflicts, always taking the high road and looking at the bigger picture.
Once he reached maturity he joined a few of his peers and began practicing to become a Ranger and help protect the woods from those who would do harm to them.
A few seasons after this the Dalelands became a battleground. Forces from all sides seemed to want parts of it; the Zhents, the Drow, and to a lesser extent the Humans. As the Elves began their march from Cormanthor to Evermeet a large number of Vall's friends and family elected to leave.
He chose to stay behind and fight. His master Merinid left Vall a his first spellbook to begin his path on learning The Art, and his family left him a token, the symbol of Evermeet to remind him that while he may be needed in the world of man that his kin needs him as well.
He had stumbled upon Zhent agents using the dead bodies of fallen Elves as undead slaves to fuel their armies and their efforts to increase their own power.
Vall has arrived in Cormyr at a small town looking for those who are in help and to lend a bow when he can.
