[This letter is addressed to Chansobal Dreen, High Morninglord of Morningmist Hall, Marsember. It is hand-delivered by sender to the temple rectory. It is written on crisp high-quality white Eveningstar Temple letterhead that has been scented with roses and tinted faintly pink.]
High Morninglord Dreen,
I'm sorry it's been so long since we've spoken. I write to you this beautiful but cloudy morning with concerning news. I met a fellow cleric recently who initially identified as a Dawnbringer of the Morninglord, and demonstrated divine power in Lathander's blessed name. But after several interactions with the fellow, perhaps once I was deemed approachable, he revealed himself to me to be one of the Risen Sun heretics.
As I am aware you are one of the so-called Council of Three, and have been outspoken in recent years in your opposition to the Risen Sun Heresy and its growing influence in the Church of the Morninglord, I write you now in hope of consulting with you in the near future concerning the first occurrence I have seen of such a heretic clergyman in Cormyr. He indicates he is not here to spread the Risen Sun Heresy but instead to ensure the stability of the faith regardless of what may or may not be.
I have recently returned from an extended period abroad visiting family in Calimshan and can now be reached again through Father Myrkyr and Dawnbringer Jelde Asturien of the Eveningstar Temple of Lathander, as I work primarily as an itinerant with the temple here. I would like to speak with you at your earliest convenience to discuss this matter further. I have consulted with Fathyr Myrkyr as my acting superior, and he deferred to your judgment.
May the light of dawn find you always.
With respect and hope,
Foxy Rosewater
Dawnbringer and Divine Champion in service to the Morninglord

//OOC: I'm posting this here as a player because, while I am very familiar with the Church of Lathander in Cormyr and the position of Chansobal Dreen opposing the Risen Sun Heresy, I am also playing the character involved in this situation (my cleric of Lathander, Foxy Rosewater) and don't want to just self-arbitrate ("god-mode") the NPC response for my own PC. So I'm posting this through the regular channels for letters to prominent NPCs. As DM Hawk is running Chansobal Dreen in his Sembian plot presently, it's probably best he continues to play Dreen in this as well for consistency. So Hawk, I know you're busy, but here's some more on your plate.
Disclaimer: And yes, I did self-arbitrate Father Myrkyr deferring to High Morninglord Chansobal Dreen, but that was going to happen regardless.
Oh, and last, but not least, a nit-pick. High Morninglord Chansobal Dreen's NPC tag at the Morningmist Hall is color-coded wrong. His first name, Chansobal, is colored as though it's part of his title.
