Yay! I just got a copy of this... ok so not everyone will be excited about Moonsea as I am but heh.. if anyone has questions they'd like me to look up... feel free to ask. *runs off to start reading*
Here's a little except:
"Some say that Zhentil Keep is the most evil city on the Moonsea. They're fools to even think that. Hillsfar is worse - they force elves and other nonhumans to fight to the death in an area. Their mage-ruler Maalthiir tolerates anthing in the city that doesnt interfere with trade, and he tortures people in his dungeons for sport. Maalthiir's private army will protect you if you pay the right bribes, and rob and murder you if you dont. At least the Zhents admit to their evil - the folk of Hillsfar ignore the evil around them so they can make a profit. They are the worst of human nature."
- Dyrlar Graywinter, elf scout of Cormanthor

Interesting. I haven't looked at that book much.
I got a friend of mine to play a couple D&D sessions with me and afterward he went out and bought a lot of FR books on Ebay. (By a lot, I don't just mean a bunch, I mean he bought them as a lot, a single irregular unit.) He then dropped them off at my house two days before Thanksgiving while I was at work. When I asked him about them, he said "I don't have time to read these or anywhere to put them, so you should add them to your collection." Mysteries of the Moonsea was among them. They were all part of someone's personal collection and some are in better shape than others, but most of them are in comparable shape to books I've bought new. My friend says he got them for less than $10 a book but even then, I guess he spent between $100 and $200 on the auction.
Anyway, I've been thinking of mentioning that on here somewhere, so since you mentioned that book I thought it worth a mention here. I don't have any questions about the Moonsea at this time. :-)
