Heya all:
I opened the road to Marsember last night. Please consider the area open Beta as there are still many typos and things, but most everything is functional.
I will say the road leads somewhere out of Suzail, and there will be a boat to Marsember soon as well.
Cheers and enjoy!

Marsember is great!!! I love it. Feels like you built the whole city just for Cap'n Kam. ;D By the way did I see Kam's Ship under construction there?

I fixed about 10 stores that were buying things back at astronomical rates... so all you would be "traders" out there... good luck!
Please do continue to report spelling errors, etc in these areas.
Cheers!

I'd love to see it, but I'd need an army to venture out too far from isinhold. Heck, my lvl 8 mage can't even walk to Redmist by himself if someone has left that ettin in the middle of the road. The orcs are also extremely tough... Bums me out how hard it is to travel in FRC

The orcs are also extremely tough... Bums me out how hard it is to travel in FRC Invisibility goes a long way... so do a couple of hundred coins spent on caravans... plus, if you can make it to Redmist, you can make it to Suzail! Once to Suzail there is absolutely NO danger in reaching Marsember... the road is OPEN. So, turn that frown upside down fella!

Umm why are you not just buying scrolls from Guldar? he has always a ready deal and can giet you what you need. And at reasonable cost, kinda like wal-mart without the labor disputes. Hmmmm, maybe me and Kam should unionize...anyhoo, i am starting a 1st level mage, with 4 whole hit points and umm, trust me, just run when you are alone. thats why all the real powerful mages are so old...

Actually the road to suzail is bloody tough on your own...especially for a lvl 8, padrin couldnt make it until he was about 12

i've been to marsember and i think it rocked! ;D once the content is added (like shops and a few quests that npcs hint at) it's going to be even better.

There are currently about five shops, not counting Inn's. Were the doors locked or something? I think everywhere that has a map note (except maybe one place) has a door that leads to a new area. Anyway, quests will be forthcoming pretty soon too.

Hmmm, was shocked that you said 5 stores not including Inns. I've looked everywhere and could only find one merchant. I'm pretty sure I've looked everywhere.

I only found two merchants. There were a couple others that looked like they should be merchants but only had some dialog about future work.

Well, I certainly could be wrong. I know there were many, many stores including the Inns that I had to set up for persistence. Now that I count them in my head there are indeed three merchants that sell goods besides alcohol and what-not and maybe 2-3 that still need setting up. I probably was off by a couple in my count in my previous post. Either way, Usurper did a fantastic job with the areas.
