In no particular order... It worked for Rocky Balboa, after all. A song of ice and fire(I know, terrible). Dwarven Moot Grim tidings. Torgar needs to adjust his shutter speed for motion-capture. Brakk and Torgar discover further proof of their kinsdwarves works in Cormyrean lands. Hirsute and handsome.

Joric's so excited to see Torgar back he just can't help himself. What happens in the bathhouse stays...in DM logs, most likely. Torgar calls a spade a spade.

There are better battle pictures in my folder, but I just liked this one because Brakk was a great deal of fun and this was a particularly good 'arglary'. Dwarves win. The Dragon's Auction Day One. Torgar swearing oath to Oghrann, singing a battle hymn in honor of fallen comrades, vanquished foes, and an eye to the future. Oh those wacky humans. And that wacky Hawk

If you can, I recommend turning up your graphics in that particular zone (the one where the dwarf beard whipping occurred) because the grass there looks amazing. Even if you just turn up the graphics to take a look and turn them back down, the grass in that tileset is great.

Voted:Most Valuable Beard How rude! We all had a good chuckle here.(To clarify, she misclicked then went with it;)) Devas aren't always stuffy. ...Hawk You'd think by now Cormyr would be purged of all White Dragons. Wordplay!

The Chronomancer's Keep, a Dwarf's view: "Started out gathering at the Temple of Defenders with the Triadic lads and meeting some paladin of Mystra I've seen about.Kian talks less than most Men, point in his favor.Triadics led us towards the keep outside Eveningstar and there we met an infamous troublemaking mage.Don't see what all the fuss is about." "After learning more of our task we pressed on into the magic sphere. Don't mind saying the sky unsettled me, as if some elf spewed up their saccharin wines." "Took but a moment for me to tell this wasn't the right keep.Sure no Dwarven minds had designed the place nor hands built it. We were laid into by golem-forms more powerful than any I've faced in my days. Back when Dwarves first invented golems, a single one could wipe out entire warbands of orc and goblin, these were near as deadly, and no mistake! Clockworks and golems against a Faithful Few. I almost smiled when I saw the Celestials joining the battle with us, brave and true stouthearts all." "With these fine allies we fought our way through to ruins of an ancient castle. By my beard, the stonework was auld and yet hadn't aged so much as it ought, especially being mannish work. Along the way we did come upon the young lad Leos of Torm whom I'd met while overseeing the construction alongside Manus Thunderrock. He was defending some survivors who'd managed to hide away, may Sharindlar be praised for small mercies. Soon we were ready to continue on into the keep itself and once within encountered more golem-forms and then...something far worse that even now curls my beard." "Even after learning from Chaplain Henrik that they were beyond all hope of being saved it was a hard and bitter and grim thing to do, but we'd no choice as we had other lives to save.Including each other's."

"We found a metal-man who claimed to serve Torm and went by the title and name Sir Marius. He told us of two metal "children" who held keys to our further success. I was not terribly amused." "We gained access to the Chronomancer's Chamber and did then discover foul treachery:Marius was the ex-lover of the one called Zerja, the Chronomancer!I made sure he paid in full." "We brought Zerja down with much effort but before she fell she performed one last trick and sent the entire Keep into the bowels of the Hells." "By Clangeddin, the battles were fierce and foes foul." "We triumphed, of course, and with our prize did return to the Keep and then the present day and our plane. Outside we found the interfering old Wizard."

From last night...for some reason a bunch of my screencaps didn't take so here's what I did get: Recommended viewing songs: Pride of the DwarvesDurnir's Forge by DragonlandMost of the group in Valkur's Roar, after meeting in Skull Crag and being told by Oghrann Warlord(that's WarLAIRD!) Haffestrin to put an end to the threat of Junglegloomyvoluminousshampoo and heading to their destination... ...To be stopped by a group of Roarian civil servants... ...who offered to pay them each 1000 coins for dealing with what the landlord amusingly termed a "problem". Most of the intrepid band said they could keep their gold(see, Dwarves are not always greedy) and the party continued, spirits high... ...as they marched to the hillside entrance of an ancient Dwarven mine, after slaying cyclopean adversaries and dragon cultist kobolds. Torgar approached the rune-inscribed gate with something and did something and they entered... ...and this is where my screencapping failed utterly. The entire scope of the battle and the great roleplay with the false Verden are missing except for these few shots. The group fought a horde of kobold cultists, undead dwarves...and three black dragons of varying size and power before it seemed they were victorious... ...the true threat emerged after the dwarven clerics prayed and Clangeddin answered Torgar with a feeling of ultimate doom... Mostly disappointed that I didn't get the shot saying that Ruby Strongsword has slain Jung, etc for posterity's sake.

Some screens from the last month or so: Several Dwarves of Oghrann answer a call for aid, and become unwelcome guests in the Abyss... The group bravely fights on, some bellowing stirring words of courage to inspire the others. Everything turned out fine, really. Deep in the Underdark...the ruins of the ancient Dwarven city of Araulurrin still stir with life, and echo with battle.
