"We are being hunted Brothers and Sisters of our Lord Bane. Will you stand by and be hunted like dogs and do nothing? Or will you rise up and act as wolves and find those hunting us and wipe them out? Band with me and leave word at the Standing stone inn. I will get the letters and respond to you." *at the bottom of every letter is a A stamped in wax*

*A figure in a red cloak and chain shirt carrying a large sword across his back looks over the note and shakes his head. The note he reads is in Skull Crag.*
Tsk, tsk... So begins the war... *Looks to the caravan and ponders his next move*
To The Roar means imprisonment or worse to Suzail and the War Wizards have ... To The Guant and ...Who knows who I may meet...
*hurries to the caravan as it scurries along the mountain trails to Eveningstar. The caravan master once checking the carriage finds a red cloak wrapped around a sword and shield. A note attached says To Elle in Greatguant. Affixing the note is the seargents rank of a Greatguant Volunteer. Also in the cloak wrapping is the journal of the seargent at arms.*

Where they are posted in Cormyr most of the letters are removed by local guards and militia for study.
A notice reminding citizens of the law is posted in their place:
Citizens of Cormyr, adventurers and visitors,
It is the decree of the Regent that any of the following is strictly prohibited:
Worship of Bane Worship of Cyric Worship of Shar Worship of Gargauth Worship of demons and devils
Anyone caught practicing these faiths will be punished accordingly.
By My Hand, Princess Alusair Nacacia Obarskyr, Regent of Cormyr.

*When Shesh'ahl arrives by caravan in Eveningstar to begin a cross country trek he reads the decree by teh Reagent.*
"Bah, they write laws to disregard them anyway.... The preamble of the law of Cormyr reads.... "
*Shesh would take pen to the paper and write hurriedly in each town he passed along the journey*
" Regardless of race, creed, religion.... Ya... we forget about that dont we now. Make rules and laws on the fly.... As soon as Ranan leaves public life take advantage of the power vacuum left behind. If the Crown has rule by birth right why fear other religions? The country is divided, no one BUT the War Wizards are allowed to summon demons... *waves his hand* If its good for one its good for the others. Some become victims of circumstance... There are separate classes of people not a united people. All this to protect one persons control on power... Whats the difference from The Black Fist and the ruler of the land? Both use powers at their disposal to control the masses. The Crown seeks to have order in the land as does the Black Fist.... The Black Fist uses threats and coercion to bring folk under heel so does the Crown. Nah not even the crown... a reagent. Not even legitimate authority. Propped up by wizards, not just wizards but WAR Wizards. The self same that are the only ones to be allowed to summon demons... But worshiping demons is forbidden from the rest of us? I challenge you all to ponder these inconsistencies. Shar a diety that taps a little understood power attached to the self same weave Mystra created.. Something a legal Goddess made and this new diety is forbidden for using something that was made by a legally worshiped Goddess? Wake up people. All these disallowed and yet every crypt across the land holds the abominations of undead created by followers of the Vaunted ... But they are allowed. Why? I say to you it is so they can take advantage of adventurers. Taxes and business from so many adventurers. We all of us are being used. We arent even citizens of the land. To opperate here we need a paper giving permission to be here. We are registered to be tracked by the Crown.. nay The Reagent. If we are caught without papers we can be imprisoned and fined... read the Laws they wrote. So much of it is twisted. Cant harm cats and yet rats infest towns? Then they wonder and blame others for plagues. I humble leave it to your judgement. "

*the notice in the enclave would be slightly altered with banes name scratched out* As the Enclave is not in Cormyr, no "Proclamations of Illegal Worship" are posted there.

Morgaine on her travels starts to keep her eyes alert and watching and when she sees either the note for bane or the note about treason, she asks softly around town to see if anyone noticed who put it up. They are busy cities so someone must have seen something. She looks for descriptions of armor and clothing if the person is masked and hooded.
She regularly visits Shallyport, Suzail, Valkur's Roar and GreatGaunt.

//Just a quick ooc note here, in case anyone has misunderstood this in the laws of Cormyr "Regardless of race, religion, creed, or moral outlook", means that regardless of these things you are bound by these laws. It doesn't afford any special rights for race, creed, or moral outlook...in fact, it's just the opposite.
It means that humans and half orcs and gnomes and half demons and everyone else follows these laws. If your religious beliefs include worshipping devils/demons, it's illegal in cormyr no matter what your race, creed, or moral outlook is.
That is all, just in case someone OOC misunderstands what this means. The cormyrian laws aren't laying out what your rights are regardless of race, creed, or moral outlook....they are laying out what they aren't.
//end ooc
