Hello folks! This is Melinda, relatively new in FRC. I want one of my Characters to have a Prestige Class. I have sent a pm to a DM at 15/9, with my story, but I had no feedback, I am not aware if he/she has read my message. I am not aware if the pm box is active or not, or even I am in the same timezone with the DM. So I thought to ask here instead of waiting (possibly) in vain. Thanks in advance!
PS: I usualy play while afternoon in Europe.

The answer is found here: frc.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=serverrules&action=display&thread=12050If there are any other questions please feel free to continue asking in this thread. I will suggest your character begin 'training' for the PRC as early in his career as possible. For example: should you desire to play a Dwarven Defender, your roleplay should include details you believe would be appropriate to the class. My choices may include having the largest shield I can find and emoting such things as, *He stands fast against the charging foe,* or, *He bashes the ogre with his spiked shield.* I may also roleplay him as stubborn to a fault, never backing down from an argument or fight, and never ever ever admitting he is wrong, even when he and everyone else knows it. I would also have him 'train' through roleplay to learn to pick strategically important places to hold and to force the enemy to come to him for a fight. (This is just an idea, and I hope no one thinks this is a mandate on how to roleplay a DD, since most of you can do better anyway.)

Also, if it has been that long and you haven't heard back from the DM or had any indication that your application was received, you should consider PMing it to another DM. Applications are not approved or denied immediately. They may be reviewed for a very long time, in fact, especially if there's a question among the staff of whether the character is suitable to the class. Applications for PRC should be submitted as early as possible in the character's career so DMs have the opportunity to become familiar with the character. So applications aren't approved or denied immediately, some wait time on that should be expected. However, when you submit an application there's no reason you shouldn't expect to receive a note of its receipt from the DM you sent it to. There's a chance the DM you sent it to is not active at the moment on the server and forums. You can tell if any PM you have sent has been read by looking at the envelope symbol to the side of the subject line. It will either show a closed envelope (the PM is unopened by the recipient) or an open envelope (indicating that the PM has at least been opened by the recipient).

Thanks a lot for your responces! And yes, it is a class that requires applications to be sent! And yes, I train my char from its very first level for this moment and I am aware that this might take a long to make it, I just didn't want to waste time, in fact I wanted someone to "watch" the character!
I found a DM that we believe we have the same timezone, so this might be a solution!
See ya!
