"No no no no no, if you do anything to my arm it will throw me off balance and I won't be able to stand up for weeks again..." She take the tissue from the healer and begins to slowly rip the tissue apart. "Should I just visit the local masonry instead?"

"If you wish, a stonemason would likely find a way to cement the arm's cracks." He regards the arm again. "It is your choice. I can heal your living tissue's wounds..this not being alive or dead, is simply in a state of nothingness, if I were to remove the petrifcation it would be simple, the damage you see now..would remain once the petrification was gone and I could heal it with ease and restore it to good health and use. Repairing a statue, truly is a stonemason's job and I'm a healer, I deal with restoring living flesh to a state of health or dead flesh to a state of restoration and life." He studies the way she carries herself and her shoulder. "If you change your mind, let me know. For now though I suggest that I fix up your other wounds and possibly send you to some experts, dwarven ones. If you head Eveningstar in the evening, they will likely be taking shelter in the inn, they're working in a project in the mountains. Tell them Brother Henrik sent you and what it is that you want, and the stonemasons among them will likely have some ideas."

The woman nods at Henrik's words, then pulls up her arm sleeve to show Henrik. Her statue arm includes her entire shoulder and looks like it might extend even further. The whole thing looks reasonably sturdy and well-attached, although more then a bit plain. "Maybe I should decorate it or something..."

Henrik nods. "Entirely your choice" He rolls up his sleeve to reveal a depiction of the dragon god Bahamut coiled around his forearm. "This was my way of honoring my wife's faith and the ally of my Lord." He smiles and rolls his sleeve back down. "Shall I heal what wounds you do have? That is something I can do for you, I promise I will leave your arm and shoulder alone."

*stands in the doorway watching smiling at her husband* If you change your mind I can return your arm to its normal state. You know when I grow my wings I will be off balanced as well and will have to learn to walk all over again. Some things are far more worth letting go of your fears for, but that choice is up to you.

The woman nods at Henrik and hands him pieces of what once was a tissue. She begins to show him several bruises and claw marks, but then stops and stares blankly at Lynn.

Henrik smiles. "She's a dragonblood..one day Lynn will have wings." He breaks open a healing kit and quietly arranges salves and treatments for the claw and bruise marks.

The woman silently watches Lynn leave, then turns her blank stare over to Henrik. "Wha? Umm...Oh, right, the injuries...I got these from that bear that attacked me on the road..."

Henrik picks up a pot of salve. "Important to keep these clean as they get easily infected. You can have this salve to take with you, it's part of this healing kit." He sets the salve down and looks at the worst ones. "Do you wish to be healed? I can do this now."

"Look, umm...could you just get it over with? Yeah...umm..." She takes the salve and places it in an overstuffed purse.
"Wait, you said something about Eveningstar? I...umm...don't have any warm clothes."

Henrik works on her injuries and heals them easily. Humming with positive magic and energy..once he is done, he hands her the salve "Keep it with you in case of another run-in with bears." He nods and stands quietly. "I have also given you an elemental protection spell to help you manage the cold on the walk to the inn..it's not that far from the yellowleaf gate. Ask around among the dwarves and humans who come in in the evening. You will soon find a stonemason among them."

"Thank you." The woman nods at Henrik one more time, then turns to leave without ever sharing her name.

Henrik dips his head politely to her, not troubled by her lack of a name as many of the poor around her in the infirmary have their own secrets. "You're most welcome, Let me get the door for you." He holds the heavy house door open for her as she leaves. "Farewell, I hope your journey is a peaceful one and you find what you seek."

As Henrik is holding the door open for the lass, the tan man can be seen walking toward said door holding another over stuffed bag. He smiles and nods at the woman before continuing on. "Ahh Henrik! I decided to come forth in the day while you and everyone else is awake!" He laughs, "I hope you found the last bag I left for you and the place. If not all hope is not lost for I bring more tidings!"

Ed appears in the doorway behind the happier man, still dressed as ever in his full armor and baring a letter with the seal of Tyr on it.

"There you are! Come on in, Lynn will be delighted to see you..." Henrik's face arranges itself in a huge smile at the sight of a friend walking in, then settles into a warier one as he spots Edithin behind him. "Hello again, Edithin, how can I help you?"

"I have just come to deliver this. I'm taking the investigation slowly so you may contact me at your leisure, within reason," he holds out the official looking parchment scroll "It is for both you and your wife."

Henrik frowns for a moment and takes the letter. "I will make sure she reads it.." He glances to Richter and then back at Edithin. "Is there anything else?".

Bolts around Edithin when she hears Richters voice. She doesnt even notice Edithin passing a letter to Henrik. Her arms wraping around Richter hugging him tightly.
"Richter you're back. Come in and have some tea. I've missed you so much. You have to tell us about all your wonderful adventers sence you've been gone."
Bouncing and dancing around happily.

Fusses over Henrik and Richter, getting them tea and a platter of fresh fruits, before she joins them.
I hope you plan on staying for a few days Richter. We have so much to catch up on.

Late one night ,during a downpour of rain, outside the house of healing a man can be heard sobbing and occasionally crying out. Upon further inspection down one of the alleys a man with dark unkept hair is kneeling over a puddle in a ball. One hand smacks at the murky water with a bloody bandage long since gone foul. The other hand pushes through his ragged hair. "I'm Corvus... Me..." He mutters as if to himself. He begins to rock back and forth on his heels before shouting and striking the puddle of muck covering himself in filth "I'm Corvus! Not you! Me... Oh gods please......" He begins to whimper and weep. If he is approached by any he shivers in the ragged and thin clothing he has and places his hands over his head protectively shouting again and again. "I'm Corvus! I'm Corvus! Please..... "Then starts sobbing once more. He mostly averts his eyes from any nearby but on closer inspection it can be seen he has large circles under his eyes and likely hasn't slept in awhile.

There is the sound of the heavy doors of the House of Healing opening as a pair of booted feet displaying dwarven runes appears beside him.
A very tall white-robed figure leans down in the rain holding a black umbrella over him, the other hand holding a spluttering lantern, the candle casting a warm pool of yellow light around him. "Hello, you're Corvus are you?" A friendly voice says kindly. "Are you hurt?"

The huddled ball startles at the noise and looks up fear written on his face. "I didnt know please... I.. I'm Corvus...." He reaches out his bandaged hand toward the man grasping at his robe and crawling forward. He begins once more to weep piteously. He huddles near the man grasping at his leg and robe and not standing. With the candle light revealing more of the man two different colored eyes can be seen. One green and one Blue. His body seems emaciated. "Please... I'm cold sir.. Please.." He attempts to get up slowly but his weak limbs fail again and again underneath him.

He would find himself being helped up supportively after the umbrella is folded. "Lean on me, fellow..the House of Healing is here, would you like to enter? Come rest in the sanctuary."

He holds tightly to the man clinging in a way but nods a bit sending droplets from his hair and face. "Y..yes.. Please I'm so tired... Is it quiet inside? It's so loud... The m..music won't stop..." Runs one hand over and through his hair.

"It is, yes" Henrik guides the man in(assuming the figure watching could be seen as it's been emoted, he would notice). Once inside, the healer discards his overcloak and umbrella and guides Corvus to sit at the refectory table. "Can I get you something to eat, Corvus? If your hand is bothering you I can also take a look at it? I am one of the healers here."
He moves around gathering a spare blanket, a towel, a healing kit and food.

// Sorry for the absence and late response.
A wide grin comes across the mans face as he goes inside to speak with his friends. He tells them of how he has missed them both and regales adventures he has had with various mercenary work protecting caravans and others who need escort. Upon seeing Henrik leave and reenter he squints his eyes in curiosity, obviously not hearing the cries. He keeps calm helping Henrik with the food, giving him a few fruits and vegetables from his pack. "Give me a little time and I can prepare something more on the warm side." he says with a small smile. "Though I would need the door unlocked Henrik if it would be okay for me to use the kitchen for such."
