What do you think the turn around on having a FRC on NWN2 is going to be? From what I have read it sounds like they may have simplfied the tool set. Hoping they are right! I gave up on trying to build and script years ago.. after I almost chucked my PC out of a window. Lol ;D

Until we get our hands on a copy of NWN2 (saw a display box at EB ) but anways until we have our hands on it...it is unknown.

As discussed in another topic we may or may not be revisiting Cormyr. Having said that, we have an enormously talented team of content creators who are dying to get their hands on the toolkit.
I have proposed that we try and have a "systems go" module out for testing in about a months time after NWN2 release. What this means is that we would have a base module with all of the systems we wish to include in the new module ready for play testing in around a month. This of course would only be base systems, like economy, death system, XP system, that sort of thing.
Things are certainly going to be better this time around. While FRC was a module done very much on the fly, we have a bevy of experience to draw from this go around. Along with the fact that we have a standing DM team and player base, we will probably have a working module in about 90-120 days after release of NWN2.
What we value at FRC is bringing a world to life, having an in-depth, open-ended world for players to explore. Whether that be Cormyr, or the leading contender, Baldurs Gate and the Sword Coast, our commitment to providing an authentic play environment will always remain. I think you can look forward to a pretty amazing module from this team, and I think we are just as excited as everyone else to get things rolling.
Cheers!

holy cow...could you imagnie the city scapes if it was a Sword Coast server? Could you imagine these guys version of Undermountain? or Amn? man that could be wacky fun...hey ya know...what if there was a competetion or something that you guys could do? Give us a couple regions in FR, and we could vote, or write in areas and reasons why it would be a good realm...something along those lines. that could be a hoot! or a huge pain in the ass
