Life is short, and Art long; the crisis fleeting; experience perilous, and decision difficult. The physician must not only be prepared to do what is right himself, but also to make the patient, the attendants, and externals cooperate.

I must admit to not being a beer drinker but I heard this last night during an interview with English wit, Stephen Fry and thought immediately of Booze Hound. "Beer is God's way of saying He loves us." -- Benjamin Franklin

"Beer is God's way of saying He loves us." -- Benjamin Franklin More commonly quoted as -- "Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy"

It is a damn good quote. The way it is actually said is: "Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy." Unfortunately, it is a bit of a misquote...what he really said is: "Behold the rain which descends from heaven upon our vineyards, there it enters the roots of the vines, to be changed into wine, a constant proof that God loves us, and loves to see us happy." Which is pretty close. I use the misquoted all the time when out selling beer and no one knows the difference.

I like Boozy's one more! *pats wine barrels* Music is the wine which inspires one to new generative processes, and I am Bacchus who presses out this glorious wine for mankind and makes them spiritually drunken. Ludwig van Beethoven He was a wise man who invented beer. Plato I'm an old-fashioned guy... I want to be an old man with a beer belly sitting on a porch, looking at a lake or something. Johnny Depp (new respect for this guy, that will be about the time his wife starts singing 'Joe le taxi' again.) We used to have a saying in my town (though I am paraphrasing) You are not a real man until you can balance a Guinness on your beer belly, while standing. Galway Beer Connoisseurs Rite.

From Aliens: Colonial Marines - Bella: How far from the Dropships are we? O'Neal: You want that in meters, or in the number of things trying to kill us? I enjoyed that game... If only for the pulse rifle sound. "State of the bad-ass art..." Edited; because I simply can't resist... Many many years ago. (I was pre-teen) My dad saw a card in a shop and bought it for me on a whim. The picture of the card depicts Ellen Ripley, carrying Newt while holding onto her Pulse Rifle/Flame Thrower jury rigged, mutant hybrid bastard child weapon... But it's not the picture that he bought it for... oh no. There's writing on the back that reads the following; Hudson: Those things are gonna come in here just like they did before and they're gonna come in here and they're gonna kill us! Ripley: Hudson! This little girl survived longer than that with no weapons and no training, right? Newt: *salutes* Hudson: Well why don't you put her in charge!? Ah... Bill Paxton... I think that's advice we could all benefit from.
