A letter left at the Regal Griffon for Mage Mencius,
In my previous letter to you, I specifically said that you were not to make enemies. I cited our wish for good relations with Cormyr. It seems I was not understood as clearly as I had hoped.
It is with some confusion that I read warrants have been issued for your arrest in Cormyr for no less than assaulting a Crown official. Was there some misunderstanding? Was my letter to you not clear, or was your intellect not up to the task of deciphering it?
You will immediately present yourself for arrest to the nearest crown official in Cormyr, thereupon to be punished as Cormyrian law demands. Failure to comply will result in more stringent measures originating from this office rather than that of Cormyr.

*The Red Wizard lets out an angry mutter as he reads the letter and starts writing a response as he sits in the inn, patrons looking at him curiously as he does*
Firstly, Red, I do not respond well to threats or insults. Secondly I would never attack an official of Cormyr so I can only surmise that is was someone I was travelling with or it was in defence as these petty War Wizards and Purple Dragon Knights dislike any magical practice that is common within our country.
Regardless of this incident, some important developments have taken place. I have encountered the traitor mage Phelzaron and a few of his lackeys. They are no longer hostile towards Thay, if they even were in the first place, and seek peaceful relations between us and them. Whether they have alterior motives behind this I do not know, but it would make sense to reduce potential threats to any future plans of Thay’s.
More importantly, I have met a few powerful and wealthy individuals that are about to commence talks with the captain of the Redmist guard and his lieutenants regarding the construction of a coliseum. They will be providing a significant amount of the gold for its creation and maintenance; however, they will require some financial and physical support from our country to complete it. It is an excellent opportunity to improve relations with Redmist and gain a greater influence within the city for expansion as well as a sizeable amount of gold from any events taking place at it.
I expect a response from no other than the Khazark regarding these matters, otherwise I will teleport to Proskur myself and speak with her after I present myself to the Cormyran authorities and serve their punishment.
