A lone figure was spotted during the dead of night walking through Isinhold tacking parchment to trees, doors, and the sides of buildings. The next evening a similar figure was seen placing up the same notices in Skull Crag. The message is neatly written in Damaran.
"The Dark Sun calls the faithful. The time to act is approaching. Seek out Eclipse."
Most notices have been removed and burned. All accounts of the individual putting them up claim him to be a man of average height clad in a black cloak and hood. One commoner of Skull Crag who was taking a late night walk stopped and questioned the man. He shares this story with any who come to the Wild Wolf Inn.
He claims that the hooded man hissed and spoke in a horrific, gutteral language possessing sounds 'impossible to make with the human tongue' and that his eyes were 'cold and lifeless'. The hooded man pulled a longsword and approached the commoner menacingly. At that point the guards came around the corner. 'I looked over m'shoulder as I were backin' away from 'im an' seen th' guards. Thank th' Gods, too. But, when I looked back a' th' hooded man, 'e were gone an' only an empty vial remained, lyin' on th' snow'.
