*Written in an uncommonly elegant script*
Dearest Mistress of Secrets and Shadows,
I must first say that that was the most excitement I've yet to see within the walls of the Griffon's tavern. I don't think I'll be looking at another bottle of mead anytime soon, but suffice it to say, it was one of the best uses of it I've had in a while.
Let me assure you that you are one of the most fascinating persons I've met thus far in Cormyr, and that I am glad to have made your acquaintance. And certainly that of Vrulo’s will not be regrettable, he certainly seems a figure of fine character and you must have a dear friend in him, which is more than I can say in this part of Faerûn. I’ve only recently arrived in Cormyr, you see, which would explain my unfortunate ignorance of the cities outside of Isinhold.
I am gladdened by my luck in finding one such as yourself who shares a passion for books of a different sort. It has been frustrating to say the least. My need for books on elegantly written histories, on music theory and lyrics, on collections of epic poetry, on dance styles, etc, is nothing short of dire. I’m afraid that in having left my entire library back home, I feel the absence of quality writing has stayed my own, usually fertile, quill as of late—a most unfortunate development.
One day not so far off, I hope we may travel to Redmist or Suzail to seek out these bookshops you mentioned. I also hope you have not forgotten that I wish to learn from you those skills of which you have mastery.
May your days find you well, and I wish you good health and, of course, to have the pleasure of your company once again.
Yours in utmost sincerity,
Ihvon Krunovslavich *signed with an exaggerated and floral flair*
P.S. I must try this mushroom wine you swear by.
