A woman in violet robes and cloak with a skull mask looks about the shambled house. Checking the door is locked she nods to herself. She lays down her tall shield bearing a white skull on a purple sunburst and beside it a blade with a bone handle with a skull with circle of spikes for the pummel. Looking around she nods again and then reaches hands into various pouches of her robes and pulls forth powders and valves of liquids. Kneeling before the shield and sword she begins to chant waving her arms about and sprinkling various powders and liquids on the sword, shield and her robes.
Drawing forth a black dagger from her belt, she slits her left wrist with a small slash and prays, “Dark sun, protect me from death that I may spread fear and strife.” The blood drips down on to the shield. She draws forth one last valve she opens and drips into her eye through the eye holes of the skull mask. “That I may see that which can not be seen.” Waving her hand in shapes in the air before her, “Protect me from the use of the weave of the false believers,” and around her appears circles of glowing runes moving around her. Picking up her shield slinging it across her back under the cloak and picks up the sword with one hand and she begins waving her hands again, “Last make me unseen by others, Prince of lie.” The woman disappears into thin air.
The woman moves to the door and slowly opens it and moves out slowly and then closes it quietly looking around to make sure no one sees a door closing. She sprints from building to building about the town staying away from people and near walls of building. Looking about she takes note of the people about. Behind a building near a fire she bent over and drew a circle with runes into the ground and began to chant. A small humanoid portal open through which an undead warrior stepped through and then it closed. Reaching into her robes and chanting with hand movements, the warrior’s sword was enveloped in flames.
The warrior turned its head about and then saw a woman in white robes that screamed. Holding up a glowing holy symbol she screamed “Back in the name of Ilmater!” but the undead warrior charged on. Hacking at the white robed woman in two slashes the woman was slain.
The now ghost like purple robed figure began waving her hands in the air and chanting. She point at the ground around the undead warrior causing the air to become the darkness black that none could see through. A warrior came running to the scene in black armor only to see the blackness.
The woman than ran off across the center of the street and began to weave a spell and point at an area in front of the Regal griffon inn. A red burst spread out attacking those in its area. From her side runs the undead warrior to assault those in front of the Regal Griffon Inn. She moved across into a garden where she began to chant and disappeared from site.
She walked to the other side of the Inn to listen to the battle. Looking about she spun her hands and fingers in the air and chanted throwing another veil of darkness upon the ground near the Regal Griffon Inn. Some man asked “ Is it safe now?”
The woman heard that and then took out one of the many items she remembers Lord Raven Rift left behind many times and placed it into the darkness. She screamed, “For Lord Raven Rift and the Dark Sun!” and dashed out of the town appearing as a ghostly purple blur.
