Vladislav Tpish is a character that runs around in a 95% pure black outfit. This proves it, then. I really personally can't tell when people are wearing pure black. I know I've seen Vlad around. It's just amazing to me that something can bother so many people so much, and I can't even see the difference. I personally don't use pure black/white, but that's because I know it's taboo. Then again, I don't really use the dye kit at all. I have some dyed and designed stuff, but except for Selee whose fashion sense lacks common sense (blue shoes with a pink dress), other people have designed my stuff for me. So, if I actually am wearing pure black/white and just don't know it, blame them.

No one's mentioned my egregious use of light shiny silver yet. >.>
For black colors, I usually go with Charcoal, Shiny Black, or for metal, Dark Dull/Shiny Obsidian. Contrast them against other colors (usually blue and light shiny silver for me) and you get a pretty good approximation of black.

You guys won hehe I´ve changed Vlads looking/collors. But then again shiny black works for cloth and leather, shiny dull obsidian works as metal. But charcoal isnt even nearly black. The result of Vlads change didnt fit well with his golden details, so I had to remove all gold from his armor running away from his collors purpose (Set collors are black and gold). But its ok I guess.. I left only his pure black on his cloak and overcoat (leather 2 for clothing and cloth 1 for cloak).

But charcoal isnt even nearly black. You may want to adjust the brightness of gamma on your monitor. I've found a lot of people play NWN with the brightness way too high. If you're playing a human and you can see in any of the caves around Greatgaunt without a light source of some kind, your gamma is probably too high. Having the monitor gamma too high can make your blacks look like washed-out grays.
