How many steps removed from the dragon ancestor do disciples need to be? I understand that the second generation is half dragon.. but can an Rdd be the generation thereafter?
(1st Gen : Dragon + humanoid) (2nd gen : Half Dragon + humanoid) (3rd Gen : Disciple?!)
Or would it be further down the line? I've not heard of a 'quarter dragon' which makes me think that 3rd gen can be disciple, but I'd like to check for clarification, and I've not been able to find it.
For clarification: I'm aware that DD's can be hundreds of generations down the line. I'm interested in the ones at 3+. Nothing in source I can find suggest that 3rd gen gets draconic bonuses so it seems to me they would have to awaken it!
Thanks in advance!

Somehow I missed this.
As it pertains to FRC, the blood should be significantly thinned. You're starting play as one of the D&D core races, not as some 1/4 dragon freak.
You have to think, at second generation, that's a half-dragon mating with a human. That is not a pretty baby.
In all likelihood the half-dragon isn't mating with a human but with another half-dragon.
Three generations is not significant.
More generations is better.
