Ooc: staged outside the inn infront of the smiths (or that place where you buy armours from)
"oowh!", Soppi looks up and moans infrustration at the beating sun high above in the empty blue sky. she lets out a sigh as her little finger wriggles into a little hole at the bottom corner of her handbag. "oh Where's it gone?" she says, scratching a spot underneath her hair tie. She pulls the handbag closer to her eye and examines the contents. There were many pretty glimmering gems and shiny things of pretty colours, items that are too big to fall out of that little hole in her bag. "i know i put it in here... somewhere!", she says followed by a gasp in realisation. "ooh no! it couldn't be", Looking around herself and lifting her feet she desperately searches for that little thing. Getting down on all fours, spreading the grass and dusting the dirt and sand along the footpath, Soppi searches on. In her mind is the image of a ring but it is vague and blurry having recently lost her memory from being attacked by kobolds. "oh.. my head" she winces and throws a palm over her forehead as a sharp ripple of pain pounds onto her forehead. She rubs her head a little and within a few more seconds, the pain fades away as she lets out a breath of relief. "i.. really shouldn't stress myself too much. im sure i'll remember everything in time.. at least thats what the healer lady said" She pauses, looks at herself and finnaly gazes blankly at her dirtyy palms and letting out a little giggle at herself, "I really shouldn't be seen so dirty.. its so un-lady-like" a smile manages on her face as she pats herself down.
"now if i can only remember why im looking for this.. ring..."

The large barbarian wiped away the hair that stuck to his face as he neared the village of Isinhold. He forgot to tie the sides of his hair in plaits and he sourly regretted it for every thick strand of hair that he would brush away would only find its way sticking to his face a few moments later.
With a nod to the guard, Torgeir leaned a shoulder into the heavy wooden doors of the South Gate, pushing it open. He began to walk down the dirt path heading to the Regal Griffon Inn, squinting along the way. Not only because it was bright outdoors, but because the sunlight reflected off the cold black silver adamantine plates of his freshly polished set of armor into his eyes.
Torgeir suddenly began to walk his way into the grass, hoping that the roof of the smith's building would provide cover from the sun's rays and its heat. The flares of sun bouncing off his armor only became worse.
Somewhat blinded was he for he did not see that he was approaching the small mound that was Soppi in the tall grass. Torgeir's foot hit the hin mid stride and before he could balance himself the large man went toppling over her into the nearby earth.

"Oh my god! a bear!", Soppi's mouth immedately drops in shock, not having enough time to think as the towering figure blocks out her sunlight. Her eyes roll back and before she hit the ground she had already fainted. Her body lay on its back and looking almost lifeless, besides from the faint raising and falling of breathing.

Dirt... it was the only way to actually describe what the ground up earth that he spat from his mouth tasted like. He had stopped the brunt of the fall with is forearms, but that did not stop his head from sinking into the a lump of dirt and grass that most likely would have caused him to trip had it not been for Soppi.
Pushing himself up onto his knees he began to wipe away the soot from his face as best as his gauntleted hands could manage. It was awkwardly quite out, not long ago the sounds of the many buzzing insects could be heard, but even those creatures went silent as Torgeir let out a large, "Oof" when he fell.
The sturdy man raised a leg and turned his body, so that he was resting on one knee, as he look to the ground that was behind him. How strange he thought his shadow covering the tall grass to be. He recognized the long stretch of blackness over his shadow's head to be the hilt of Foecleaver but he did not understand what the lump near the arm of his shadow could be. Thinking that a strap from his pack loosened when he fell, causing his pack to hang by one arm, Torgeir blindly reached for where he thought the bag should be on his body. It was when he felt nothing that he realized the lump of Shadow to be Soppi.

Torgeir heard someone shout his way and it was only after he felt something hitting his armor did he turn his head, only to find a fist connecting to his face. The blow would have hardly hurt him had it not connected with his eye. With a face of stone, though he wore a squint in one eye, he looked to the newcomer waiting for an explanation.

Torgeir stared at the hin incredulously. As Periam went to kick him he grasped the halfling's foot firmly and held her there. After blinking his injured eye a few times he pushed the tiny woman away from him causing her to fall onto her bottom then found his way to his feet.
Annoyed Torgeir brought his gaze from Soppi, who lay near by, back to the angry Periam. "I have not crushed anyone." Torgeir swung his large arm and pointed to Soppi, his agitated gaze never leaving that of Periam's. "Your friend lay there."

How tall Torgeir was compared to the three hin that surrounded him. However, that didn't prevent the barbarian from feeling small. Guilt began to set in as he ran a hand through his thick hair. Torgeir let out a huff of a sigh then turned his attention to Soppi.
The halfling didn't look injured, and it was that fact that concerned the large man most. "I have done nothing," his attention back to Finbarr, "I did not see her... I fell over her not on her." He was feeling hot, and it was not because the sun that beat down upon him, he was slowly losing his patience and growing more and more frustrated.
Reaching to his side pouch, the large man withdrew a few bandages and salve. Torgeir walked to, then crouched by Soppi who lay resting on Periam's lap. Torgeir held up a hand to quite the other two hin and began to scan Soppi's prone form, hoping, if he did indeed harm her, that he could heal her.

As Soppi lay in Periams arms, her eyes begun to flicker and finnaly started to focus. Seeing a huge facial figure above her she let out a squeal, "EEe! BEAR!" Her hand moved faster then her thoughts and before she knew it she had a fist in the barbarian's other eye. To her suprise her small fist fit percectly into the huge eye socket and she could feel the softness of he close-lid eyeball. Her mouth hung wide open in realisation. Speechless, she struggled for words of apology but could manage nothing. As she looked vaguely at the big head lingering over her she finnaly managed to utter; "d.. did you see a bear around here?" She asked, taking a glance around and squinting at the sudden bightness of the beaming sun. Seeing no big bear she looked upon the others with a confused expression. "What just.. happened?" She asked as her palm proceeded to massage her forehead.

Torgeir resisted the urge to shout out then strike her. When he first arrived in Cormyr he may have done just that. However, reason struck the man before his wild instincts. He realized that the halfling struck him in the eye out of surprise.
Despite himself, Torgeir brought one of his big hands to cover his newly injured eye. The large barbarian had never been struck in the eye as he just had, and the pain made him wince, though not for long. Moments after, Torgeir shook his head with a grunt and the pain he knew was no more.
Blinking a few more times Torgeir turned his hazel eyes, the whites now red, back down to Soppi. He knew then that he could not possibly become angry with the tiny woman. The halfling radiated innocence and it did not go unheeded by Torgeir.
Torgeir rubbed the rough stubble that grew upon his chin. It seemed to him that if left unshaven, he would grow a beard as thick and as brown as his mane of hair. He had not the soft face that he once possed as a young man. He had aged no more than a decade, and his facial features had become more defined and angular. His skin seemed to always be tanned for he never left the road. A nomad was he, not used to settling in one place for long.
Sorrow stuck him then for he did have a home. Many a score of Uthgardt barbarians waited for him in the Reaching Woods west of Cormyr and past the Sunset Mountains. He would return to his tribe of the Elk to fulfill his duties. Though there were more than a few reasons he wished to stay.
He had only begun to think of a woman when Finbarr asked his question. "I have not carried her nor have I dropped her," responded a flustered Torgeir. "I have never lifted one of your kin before."

"Thanks Fin" Smileing, Soppi takes his hand and gets to her feet and dusts herself off. She then lifts a finger and points it at the big man, "you really should watch wear you're going mister, you could hurt someone.. . someone like me!" She grins and lets out a giggle.
