I want to thank all of our players who have recognized that the role-playing purpose of the server holds a greater weight than the "pretty rocks" it contains.
I also want to thank our players for holding onto the bigger picture in their minds and understanding that we are working on something here that is larger than any of us.
I want to thank those that understand that the DM's donate their time out of love for the game and that we are a confederation of pals who enjoy the D&D experience as much as anyone!
I want to thank our players who choose not to be involved in petty squabbles, and those that DON'T cause them or support them.
I am grateful to those who contribute meaningfully to the server. In the forums, in content, but most of all in the spirit of good sportsmanship.
I want to thank anyone who plays here and is building their own server, catching our vibe and understanding what it means to build a true role-playing server.
Bless our long time, hard-core friends who have been through the thick, the thin, the in-between and still choose to play here out of respect, love and sheer pleasure.
Those who choose to play through and discuss the issues in a meaningful fashion are the blood, bone and flesh of this server and are most certainly the reason we are still around and will be as long as the format here is viable.
In the coming months you will see Cormyr transform into the server, module, and world that it has meant to be.
We are listening.
Please, ask yourself, "What have I done to improve my server today?". Because this server is yours, the communities.
The team protects and guides it, but we don't feel that we own it.
I personally work on the server, module and Cormyr every single day. Many of our team members do. And why?
For abuse?
No... for the Strong.
The core that we have built is vibrant and living. It is all of our responsibilities to maintain it. Whether you play good, play evil, play neutral or totally indifferently the core is there. The world is coming to light more and more everyday. I thank those who never lose sight of that.
I am so appreciative and in awe of the wonderful community that we have created in union.
Long live Cormyr.
