People of Isinhold,
A somewhat serious matter has come to my attention. The defenses of Isinhold have been compromised. Those kobolds that lair south of the town have a system of tunnels that lead straight to the town well. Perhaps some of you know this already and think it to be no big deal, but in my personal experience it is a poor commander who leaves an open backdoor for the enemy to pass through. I would recommend something be done, and quickly.

Haylin read the missive with his usual air of detachment. He doubted the kobolds would pose any serious threat, from his experience they seemed content to merely skulk about whatever meagre cavern they infested. In any event, it was hardly his problem to deal with. Thats what Purple Dragons and town guards were for. Adjusting the sleeves of his coat, he left to see if he could sell off some of the scrolls he had found, and finally start to make a profit in the town.

Vorta walked by and noticed the letter sluggishly. He rubbed a bloodshot eye before examining the letter. Then stroked his beard lightly.
"Hrmmm.... fixin this problem be a simple affair..." He smirked as he searched a stick of charcoal which he often used to mark letters on the board.
'If ye wishin ta fix tha Kobold affair, an from me last venture be more dire than mos be thinkin, now tha they 'ave a few kin o they's with'em. Git yeself a blade an cut tha rope, 'en take a few sturdy folk an topple tha cliff next ta it ta block tha entrace.' ~Vorta Quarryfist He put away the bit of coal, which he had nearly finished then looked at his addition to the letter, then smirked.
"Now if'n a lad or two will read this durn thin..." He shooked his head lightly then turned around to sit by the fire. "I need some more ale..."

*Note added to the first one*
Quarryfist, Sounds like a sound solution. Not sure how to topple a cliff though. Perhaps caving in the tunnels further from the well would be a better idea. Also, that would keep the towns watersupply unharmed. With a name like yours, perhaps you might be the man for the job?

*as he (ooc: Aeron) walks by the sign he stops to look at it and says softly...*
Have they returned? Perhaps I did not complete my original task. No matter...soon they shall be stain on the ground.
