Parchments appear on the noticeboards of the gates of Suzail, and within the Wailing Wheel and Winking Eye inns. The writing is firm and bold, the parchment itself of high quality.
Hail to the realm of Cormyr!
Hail to the folk of the realm, you of brave and true heart!
You have heard the rumor of wars, and have seen upon the horizon a shadow rising, looming in the distance, with words of dispair upon on the wind!
I say to you, do not look to the darkness, do not fear the shadow which rises!
Hope yet rides through the realm, and Light goes with it!
They stand before the rising shadow, watching it fail before them!
You are the folk of Cormyr! We of Cormyr have faced trials in the past, and we have shown our enemies the true heart and courage of Cormyrians!
Are we not Cormyrians fighting for our homes, our families, our friends? Do we forget this in the darkness, which can only be so brief!? No, we do not! For none say through all the realms that Cormyr is made of cowards and skulkers! We stand, before all foes, and they fall regretting thier choice to come to our lands!
Rise up now, my countrymen and women! If the daughter of a simple blacksmith, with nothing special of her save faith in her Goddess and a desire to protect her home and realm can stand before the tide that rises against us, then so can all of you! Make no excuses! There are none too weak to lend aid to thier neighbor! Be it a warm meal, or a kind word of encouragement! Few there are that cannot suggest ways of facing what we face, and all can prepare for the coming tide! Time is granted us, and it is time we can use!
Hold to Hope, for it has not forsaken you!
*the parchments are unsigned, yet they each bear a wax seal at the bottom, depicting an upright longsword, wreathed in a half circle around the blade by seven stars*
