About some of the inns in Suzail parchments have been tacked or nailed up with the following:
Trust not the Black Hand! Look not to the open friendly palm, but the hand with the dagger behind his back.
Ranan - Banite Valla - Banite Louis - Banite
What's worse is an act of vandalism seems to have hit the courthouse. Upon the rear of the building in very large letters is painted the words "False Justice".

Ranan stops and stares at one of the the postings momentarily with a sigh, then takes it down. Walking over to the barkeep he puts it on the counter setting a sack of fifty lions next to it.
"Now we both know you aint that busy not to see who put this up... there's fifty there and a bit more if what you tell me proves truthful."

[The barkeep looks over Ranan]
"Keep your gold, nothing I could say would be worth that much. You think I watch every person what comes in and tacks something on that board? Did see somebody in black come in and post something a few night ago then leave but I can't say if it were that or something else. By the build I'd say it were a woman or an elf, but I didn't see enough to guess beyond that. People come in here at night and don't buy nothing, I don't ask too many questions. I'd hate to find out they don't buy nothing on account they don't drink wine, if you follow."
[The barkeep looks at the parchment]
"Them damn Banites got off, you know. They should have hanged but somebody rigged it, I figure. I'm not saying the courts is corrupt, I wouldn't say that, just saying... somebody fixed that trial. "
[Looks back to the bag of gold]
"Now, if you still feel inclined to give me that gold, I got nothing else to say. Is it mine?"

*placing his hand over the bag of coin, he smiles back at the innkeeper obviously annoyed at the remarks*
"So tell me my good man you seem to -know- so much, you have heard that this is the same man who brought a cure for the plague to the dying people of Isinhold eh?"
*continues not allowing the innkeeper to answer*
"...the same man who destroyed a hoard or Cyric worshippers who holed up outside the gates of Isinhold..."
*starts to pull back the coin, then grabs the parchment crushing it in his hand methodically*
"...so someone clad in dark clothing, not uttering a word slips in, posts this and you would put credence to it? Let us not forget the deception of the Dark Sun roams the land of Cormyr... perhaps since I seem to be the only one pushing them back they wish to neutralize such a threat."
*pushes the coin across the counter toward the innkeeper while stepping back and walking away*
"Perhaps if you do learn more, you can tell me on my next visit. I bid you good day."
