Citizens of Valkur's Roar and Cormyr,
Yestereve, Talbot's Table Inn caught fire by what appears to be magical cause, and therefore this is deemed an act of arson. The fires were contained in the tavern room and did not spread to the sleeping quarters or to the structure of the building.
Several people died in the fire. Their remains, such as they are, are not identifyable due to the extent of the burns. The owner and his staff survived the fire by escaping into the basement. Luckily the fire was put out before it spread there.
The members of the Valkur's Roar guard and her valorous citizens are to be commended for forming the bucket brigade that put out the blaze.
As evident of the indomitable spirit of Valkur's Roar and her citizens, the owner has re-opened the inn for business while repairs are under way.
Anyone with information about the blaze is to report this knowledge to a member of the Valkur's Roar Guard.

During a quiet hour, while no known adventurers can be seen in Talbot's Table Inn, Talbot stands at the bar cleaning a few tankards. The light smell of burnt wood still floats in the air and a few workers make noise while attempting to repair the fire and water damage. The evening had just begun to set in and the days weather had been comfortable. Both inn doors were blocked open in an attempt to clear out the aroma of the previous days fire.
Talbot stood silently enjoying the breeze when a sealed letter appeared on the counter. Glancing to it briefly, then glancing around the inn, he determined he was the only one to notice it appear and that nobody had been close enough to put it there. After finishing the cleaning of the tankard he was on and putting it away he casually lifts the letter and breaks the seal, opening it.
((The letter is described in the guild forums))

Nadie goes to a few carpenters known for quality work in Suzail to mention to them that talbot of Talbot's table in Valkur's Roar is in need of carpenters to repair some fire damage.
She gives them some pertinent information she knows such as no support structures were damaged.
When asked why she's doing this (if asked) she simply states she's honoring her word to talbot by spreading the word among the local carpenters.
