So, after seeing some screenshots and playing around with cinematic mode, I was comparing looks of the old game to the new ...  In EE with regular lighting:  And with enhanced lighting:  I don't like everything the enhanced lighting does to Tari's hair, and the flare around the candles sadly remains unchanged, but I mostly like what I'm seeing. The enhanced contrast and sharpness in standard EE is a big difference, already. P. S.: lol .. though you don't see Tarithel through the shiny water, anymore ... that's odd. P. P. S.: It's actually not the shiny water, nor the animations. Nothing I can toggle changes the behaviour that you can see the architecture through the surface of the water but not the character. That's a little sucky. P. P. P. S.: while in other news ... so, it's not a nudity filter, either  This beats my nwn-fu. |
