A friend on FRC approached me recently about creating a thread on the forum where we could post updated descriptions of player characters on FRC. This is something that I've discussed with a DM before and it was confirmed to be a decent idea at the time. So, here goes.
A limitation of the NWN Game is that once a player character is created in a server vault, the description written (or not written) at the time is pretty much permanent. A character may have a wonderful and detailed description that was a very accurate portrayal at the onset, but will not evolve with the character over time.
The idea behind this thread is to ask folks to consider posting updated descriptions of their characters and trying to keep them current. This would allow other players to quickly reference what your character looks like today, if that is different than what they looked like at creation.
A few guidelines I'd like to humbly suggest for anyone intersted in posting:
Please limit to one post per character (not player!). Additional updates can be done by editing the original post.
Please keep the post within the scope of a physical description of your character, to reflect what someone would perceive when in his or her presence.
If you think this is a good idea, we could soon have a one-stop-shop for referencing up to date character descriptions on many of FRC's usual suspects.
Thanks for reading (and posting, hopefully!)
*Goes off to work on an updated character description*

// Very good idea, this thread, I strongly approve. I'll edit this post as applicable (including to remove this remark here), and as I think of more things to add, and will also make posts for my other characters when I get around to it.
Camina appears to be in her early thirties. She has shoulder length brown hair. She is physically fit, but not extremely so, not appearing particularly strong or lithe, just healthy. While she wouldn't be considered pretty by most people's definitions, her appearance isn't completely unkempt; she keeps herself well groomed, and isn't quite ugly, either, just unexceptional.
She has a number of tattoos, mostly decorative, but it's extremely rare for her to wear clothing or armor which leaves them visible.
Around town, she can most often be seen wearing well kept armor made of thick leather, with reinforcing bits of ironwood at key points. She typically has a wooden shield and a spear strapped to her back, and a scimitar sheathed at her belt.
She typically seems rather quiet and reserved, more content to listen and observe going ons then to be the center of attention herself. Of late, when observed alone (before she realizes the presence of people she knows), she seems somewhat more withdrawn then usual, sometimes almost even sullen, but she's quick to school her features when she realizes she's been noticed.
Camina carries no visible symbols of faith on her person, but by her visible equipment, it's not much of a leap to assume her a druid.
Celith Kalaben - Wishes NWN had Mystic Theurge
Rigrin Fristo - Overconfident sorcerer with big hair
Camina Williams - Solves nature's problems with violence
Rosaline Benick - Nosy mage-merchant
Eleanor Weatherbee - Not a fan of genies
Standing a little over five feet tall, Isiolith has unruly fiery red hair intricately arranged and pinned back by a mithril and copper circlet but occasionally hair will escape and flop over one eye.
A single mithril earring dangles from her left ear, she bears a crystal bead necklace from which hangs a series of rings and an ancient green elven key that seems to be of sentimental value to her. She wears a green wedding band. Her arms and hands are strapped into bracers and fingerless leather gloves.
She dresses in soft clothing in earth and forest colours, a simple shirt and breeches with a cloak and hood - all of quality elven design. A quiver sits at her back over a shield, her bow is slung over her shoulder and she has a short sword sheathed at her hip which appears to occasionally whisper or utter words in a female voice. Her bow is several inches taller than she is and covered in swirling green designs of elven words and symbols which appear to have meaning only to her. Other weapons cannot be seen except for a large hunting knife sheathed at her thigh. There is a pouch on her belt which seems to be exclusively reserved for berries and other foraged food.
Her skin is copper-toned and she has slanted, emerald-green eyes flecked with gold that have the patient and predatory look of a skilled huntress and scout. Her natural expression is close assessment, constantly looking at everything and sizing up strengths, weaknesses and threats. Once that's over, her face relaxes and she becomes amiable but occasionally, infuriatingly secretive....sometimes her features will take on a wild and feral look.
She moves with extreme cat-like grace and stealth and will sometimes just vanish and be seen as no more than a fleeting shadow, if at all.

Alyster Darkharp: Painted by Matt Finn
The Bard Darkharp
Real Name: Alyster Lang (widely unknown) a.k.a Alyster Darkharp, a.k.a The Bard Darkharp, The Lord Master of Alizarin, Headmaster of Alizarin Height: 3 Feet 2 Inches Weight: 37 lbs Eyes: Dark Brown Hair: Black/long worn in a ponytail Race: Lightfoot Halfling Age: 38 Place of Birth: The Village of Shallybrook, Realm of Cormyr Cormyrian Citizen
This male halfling is usually dressed in the trademark colors of Alizarin Academy, red, black and gold. The garments he favors are in general, well tailored formal coats, shirts, and breeches mixed with pouched belts, boots and gloves more suited to an adventuring type. He normally crowns this regalia with a wide brimmed black hat decorated with a beautiful feathered quill that is tucked into the red hatband. Charms and trinkets of many types hang about his hatband, coat, and belt most of the time. An expensive looking cloak made of exotic black silk trails from his shoulders like some errant patch of midnight, designs of spiderwebs can be seen upon it when the light strikes it just right. Pinned to his coat on the upper right breast at all times is a small golden seal engraved with a dragon clutching a harp in it's claws, the seal of the Alizarin Academy of Bardic and Arcane Lore. His belt is fashioned of black leather with a large golden buckle that also bears the emblem of Alizarin, on both the right and left hips hang holsters of tooled dark leather contain exotic lantanese pistols. The one work on the left hip has a handle fashioned of polished bone or ivory and an impish smiling face fashioned on the cap at it's butt; polished brass hardware decorates the silver pistol elsewhere, the right pistol is made of dark black adamantium and has a grip of some type of polished animal horn with a frowning impish face on the bottom of it's grip. All of it's fittings appear to be made of silver which has been polished to a mirror sheen. Scroll cases and small ink bottles dangle from his waist, affixed to the belt in their own small holsters or held by lengths of leather cord.
A number of other items hang from the belt including: Two magic wands, which are identical short lengths of bone topped with small quartz spheres, and the third which is longer than the others, more properly a rod of twisted and blackened femur bone, a small crystal is set within it's top end and it glows with a faint red light. A tiny silver hand-bell, a jeweled circlet, and a handful of oddly shaped potion vials are also tucked into the belt at various places among a few small pouches. A baldric just below the left holster contains a beautiful scabbard that is etched with the holy symbol of Oghma, it contains a finely crafted shortsword that could be easily identified as a luckblade by anyone with a little knowledge of common magical blades. Tucked into the front of his hatband are two small objects, three inch sections of an arrow that appear to have been snapped off the full shaft; the arrowhead and a small length of wood, matched with the feather fletching and an equally sized length of shaft, the objects appear to be crossed in a 'crossbones' fashion.
When his hat is off one might note a bit of gray hair at his temples and thin streaks of silver in his thick black head of hair. His eyebrows though appear so dark as to have been inked on his handsome face. He sometimes wears a mask to obscure all but his glittering brown eyes when performing or adventuring, but most of the time he goes unmasked. His facial features are chiseled and angular, almost hawkish with a sharp nose that only barely shows signs of having been broken in the past. His face is nearly always clean and clean shaven, and there is a small scar on the right side of his neck. When he smiles it displays a mouth full of white teeth which are even for the most part. No tattoos appear on his pale flesh where it is visible, and those close to him would probably note that he must wear a scent made with rosemary and other spices.
He most commonly plays and carries a beautifully crafted elven harp or a harp fashioned from what appear to be some form of humanoid bones. Both harps have the look and normal wear of instruments which are played very often, but appear to be immaculately cared for and cleaned. Both harps are hung from black silk straps that crisscross his coat when he isn't playing them and hold the harps mostly out of sight inside his cloak; out of his way but within easy reach at need.
Kelric Hawkrune is a human male of mixed heritage. He demonstrates Chondathan height and sturdiness while having the jet black hair and pale skin of some Damarans. Hawkrune's eyes are clear and blue. He speaks with traces of a fading accent that well-traveled folk might recognize as that of a Mooneye (native of the Moonsea).
He is a man of his mid thirties, recently beyond his prime, though maintaining his fitness thus far through a martial lifestyle. Nearly an additional decade of age is told in the story of Kelric's face, however. Shadows of crows feet surround his eyes and the edges of his mouth are marked from enduring strains of exertion over the years. Kelric's dark hair is streaked with grey at the temples. His expression remains alert and his gaze often holds a measure of intensity, though it softens and saddens while in the company of old friends.
Kelric's Damaran skin tends to redden rather than tan beneath Cormyr's sun and he has a tendancy to keep much of himself covered while outdoors. His skin is marked by the lines of numerous scars, though the attention of benevolent healers have kept the various scars from strongly marring his appearance.
When his hands are bared of gauntlet or glove, one can see that Kelric wears a wedding band on his left ring finger and two rings on his right hand. His forearms and wrists are nearly always bound in bracers of bright metal and dark leather. The bracers' metal is brighter in its finish than most alloys and demonstrates characters of a strange alphabet on their surface. Individuals familiar with planar writing may recognize that the letters are Celestial in origin. Hawkrune wears the symbol of Tempus Foehammer, an upright steel sword cloaked in tongues of flame, suspended by a chain around his neck.
He does not often wear bright colors and the leathers or metals he wears usually remain undecorated. Cloth is usually dyed grey, black, or brown if at all. Kelric nearly always wears tall, leather marching boots as favored by soldiers accustomed to marching distances over rugged terrain. Contrary to certain rumors, Kelric's boots are well maintained with the care given by a veteran soldier.
When on the march Kelric is usually clad in either sturdy traveling leathers or a coat of steel-hued scales. A large leather satchel is usually worn on his right side. A heavy shield of wood and steel is slung over his left shoulder, if not held fast against his left arm. Over time Kelric's shields have borne the mark of the Hawkrune family (shown as my forum avatar, thanks Ashaffer!), the fiery sword of Tempus Foehammer, Cormyr's Purple Dragon, and most recently a plain silver field signifying the Silver Militia of Cormyrian Volunteers. Typically, Hawkrune's head will be covered by his cloak's cowl or by a helm.
In the field, Kelric exhibits himself as a walking armory. Two harness-bound heavy swords are held in their sheaths diagonally across his back, their grips peeking over Kelric's right shoulder (observant folk having dealt with the sword smith Quiral, would perhaps note that one of these swords bears that mark). A stout longbow, a quiver of arrows, and a solid mace also have their place. Finally, Kelric wears an ever-present reforged Cormyrian sword, adorned with runes, in a sheath suspended over the left hip by his sword belt. The runes on this sword are dwarven, evident to those familiar with the letters.
Recently, while marching with the Silver Militia, Kelric has taken to the field clad in ancient mail of plated bronze. The armor is adorned with the markings and colors of Tempus Foehammer.

Race: Moon Elf Age: 132 Height: 5' 6" Weight: 115 lbs Hair: Black, medium length, generally pulled up into a ponytail. Eyes: Deep blue Complexion: Pale, though not as pale as her fellow Moon Elves.
Characteristics: Brin has a lithe, well toned physique, especially her arms, shoulders, and back. She is very graceful/dexterous even compared to her fellow Elves. She also has characteristic way of moving that calls as little attention to herself as she can, even in places that are considered safe.
She mostly wears darker colored clothing, with vibrantly colored accents, and is usually cloaked, and hooded, in public. On her left hip she wears a long sword, with a tower shield on her back, over her pack, though she rarely is seen using them. She generally has her bow in hand with a quiver on her right hip filled with three red arrows, one blue arrow, two green arrows, and one black. Around her neck she wears a necklace (third circle dex) with the holy symbols of Angharradh, Solonor Thelandira, and Rillifane Rallathil hanging from it. The one for Rillifane is obviously much older than the other two. She wears two golden rings (third circle dex rings) on her right hand, and a platinum one on her left.
She is very reserved with people she doesn't know very well, but is much more open with her friends. She is quick to smile/grin/laugh, and is generally kind to people in need. Her hatred of orckind is readily apparent, even for half orcs, though she doesn't pick fights with them, but warily keeps an unfriendly eye on them.

Currently playing: Celebrindal Tyilanir'oelwam (Silverfoot Pathfinder) - Portrait here
To those unfamiliar with him, Ailren Selinfer is a younger than average moon elf wizard and bard. He has long dark hair that he keeps long and unadorned. His skin is slightly darker than the average moon elf, and has a slight red cast to it. He does not appear particularly hardy or powerful in build. His fingernails are an inch long each, ending in sharp points, opaque from quick to tip. He's the sort that would be described more as cute or androgynous in appearance, rather than handsome, or fearsome.
He is almost always seen in public wearing large, elegant cloaks, and outfits obviously worth more than the average commoner will make in years of hard work. The styles may change, but he is never sleeveless unless in disguise or costume. The only constant is a golden choker around his neck, depicting a red dragon curled around it self, eating it's own tail. In the center of the circle is dark red gemstone.
Upon closer observation, Ailren's abnormalities become readily apparent. His pupils are slitted, like a cat's, and his eyes flash and glow in the same condition that a feline's would. When his cloak is removed, a pair of vibrant red wings are seen upon his back, showing off his true nature as a half red dragon. Unless otherwise noted, a small charm dangles from the Alar thumb of his right wing, a red metal talisman made to resemble a red dragon's head, eyes made of beljurils.
Ailren's normal expression is one of indifference normally, and he rarely raises his voice, except when seriously provoked. His voice is higher than most males, and he is better at mimicking female voices than males. His speech is generally as impassive as his face, giving one the impression that an insult or dig is being held back, though he is given to acid comments and the occasional rant. He has no accent normally in common, has a notable highborn Thayan accent to his Mulhoarandi, and commoner, woodsie accent to his Damarran, marking him as a resident of the Moonsea in the past. When he speaks elven, it is in a slow, stunted manner, as though dealing with a foul taste, though he is quite fluent and has an older Evermeetian accent when he drops this pretense. His draconic has the accent of the red dragon, something only a natural speaker (another dragon blooded being or dragon) would notice.
Among his normal effects are a sword belt, with varying occupants. He has a large number of long swords, each an elaborate work, most with unusual abilities. Dangling from loops of fabric, hanging like pistols, are a number of wands, and other quick draw magical items. He also keeps a number of holy and unholy symbols in pouches along his belt, including the dragon headed pinwheel design of Tiamat, and the blank scroll of Oghma. The small seal depicting a red dragon playing a black harp identifies him as a member of the Alizarin Academy of Marsember.
Though he abstains from tattoos, Ailren's body, the part hidden by clothing or cloak anyway, is a canvas for body paint. Holy symbols of various gods, elaborate swirls and stripes, and arcane script are all common place on him, changing as the whim takes him. His wings are the most commonly seen examples of this artwork.
Name: Elvewyn Cenocelin. It was only recently that Elvewyn started using his last name again. Age: 226. Deity: Labelas Enoreth Weight: Around 89 lbs. Eyes: Green. Height: About 5'5" Ancestory: Traces of both Wood Elven and Moon Elven decent can be seen.
Appearance: Elvewyn is small and frail. His body is toned, but skinny. He would look like a skinny human teenager to those who can not make out his race quickly. His body does not show elaborate artwork or piercings, instead it bears scars. The tips of his ears are a different color to the rest of his ears. He has faint scars criss crossing his back. He has a faint scar running through his right eye which ends an inch below and an inch above the eye. He has long red hair which is well cared for. It is always brushed, cleaned and it is usually tied up with a piece of black silk.
Clothing: His clothing is usual elegant in its simplicity. He does not wear elaborate robes or designed clothing. He is usually wearing blacks and blues. Though the occasional patch of white may appear. He is usually wearing a long and baggy cloak which buries his form and trails across the ground as he walks. When in the public eye he would also normally have his hood pulled up. Both the cloak and the hood have faint runes stitched into them which can be seen in certain lights.
Accessories: On his belt he has a mace tied to the right side and an old battered book covered in black leather tied to the left and a sword which has a dull white glow towards the centre of his belt. He has a pouch on his belt and vials of a floating white essence can usually be seen inside the pouch. He sometimes carries a staff which has a wooden Elf head carved onto the top of it. This carved head can usually be seen winking at passers by. Or he wields a staff which is made of pure white wood which glows slightly in dark lights. When he is stressed or agitated he can usually be seen bouncing a small black rubber ball.

Standing over six feet tall, the first thing that one would notice is Garum's large frame. Well-muscled, but not exceptionally toned, the man exudes an air of might, confidence, and wealth. His hair is a dirty blonde, his beard, which is in a purposeful state of constant scruff, is a darker hue of the blonde.
He wears well-kept clothing, and maintains a professional posture at all times. His blue eyes scan each passing person with the look of a commander, sizing up each individual as they pass. His voice is deep, and his tone is typically jovial.
When equipped for battle, as he typically is, Garum wears a suit of glimmering mithral plates, inlaid with the scales of a blue dragon. Beneath this is a shirt of silver chainmail, and a suit of padded arming gear. His preferred helmet is a minotaur-horned greathelm, although he occasionally wears an enchanted chain coif as well. The shield that is usually slung over his pack is a steel-bound wooden shield, enchanted to assist in the dispersion of acid and flame - and it appears it has done this a million times over. It is as battle scarred as its bearer, and the constant repairs it requires show clearly on it.
Sheathed on Garum's hip is a sword he inaccurately calls his "broadsword." The sword reaches over five feet in length, with a hilt that could be held in one or two hands. The sword shows the care that Garum has provided it - and the wear and tear of a plethora of battles. Its pommel gem is a violently cracked blue spinel, set into the blade by Garum himself. Its crosspiece is enchanted steel, and the four foot blade is Cormyrian forged. Despite the evidence of extensive use, the sword maintains a razor's edge under Garum's attentive eye, and it is well prepared to meet against another sword or an orc's hide.
Garum's body is scarred, although the scars that are present on his body are an ever-changing artwork. Through the application of healing magicks, regeneration, and ressurections, a constant map of the scars on his body is made thoroughly impossible. He does not enjoy his scars, and prefers to keep them hidden under long-sleeved shirts and trousers.
When not in his battle attire (and sometimes when in), Garum wears a pair of absolutely pristine dragonhide boots, an eye-blistering white in color. It seems that he puts as much pride in his boots as he does into his sword, since they are in a perpetual state of absolute cleanliness and shine. Around his neck is typically a magical amulet of some sort, and a Bodak's tooth on a string. A troll chieftain's token has been modified into a brooch for his cloak. Numerous other trophies dot his appearance, in an ever-changing manner much like his scars.
He wears a deerskin backpack, and keeps a rawhide satchel. The backpack contains his various adventuring gear. The satchel contains food stuffs (for Garum, usually a few bottles of Waterdhavian beer, several generous hunks of rare cheeses, dried meat, and a container of dried pancake batter).
A broad smile and a warm welcome meet most folk who approach him.

Name: Torian Burrfoot
Torian is a hin of slightly taller than average height. Her eyes are grey and look almost tinted purple when she gets excited. Her brown hair is now streaked with the grey age and her work has brought onto her. She's easy to spot with her two trademarks - Her feathered hat and the circular blade that hangs on her hip.
Torian's got a heart of gold and the personality of a rabid wolverine. Quick to anger over certain phrases, she has been known to strike people down only to turn around a few days after and do jobs for them. She's loyal to those she considers friends and has no problem working the extremes of the moral spectrum to get what's needed. She has recently been seen again around Suzail, Redmist, and Isinhold, her old stomping grounds. Whether or not she has come out of retirement or has just come back to visit is still not yet clear...
Kethoth Uuthrakt, Red Wizard of Thay, School of Enchantment
Kethoth is a tall man of pure Mulan herritage. To the scrutinizing observer he appears close to forty winters. His form is rather thin and lanky, with pale skin tattooed in many places, although he often keeps these covered. His fingers are long and thin, though are rather strong, indicative of many, many hours of casting spells and scribing various works. He keeps himself clean shaven at all times.
He often carries himself in a poised and almost haughty demeanor. His dark brown eyes typically hold no warmth and display little to no emotion. His gaze is chilling and dispassionate. He does not smile often, but when he does it creeps onto his face slowly as if the act is difficult for him, and when a smile does cross his face it is akin to a predator's grin of superiority rather than one of mirth. He speaks in an almost monotonous, chilling tone that conveys detachment. His words are well formed and polite, typically.
He wears dark crimson robes of the finest quality that obscure his lanky form. He keeps his head in a cowl, although his face is often visible under the cowl. Upon his forehead is a golden circlet encrusted with rubies. He often carries a heavily enchanted staff topped with a ruby of immense size. He wears an almost oversized cloak, pinned together with a brooch of solid gold. The underside of the cloak sports a vast amount of pockets which carry his spell components and other items.
He carries two large tomes on himself at almost all times. One is a thin tome bound with black leather. Infernal runes embossed upon the leather flare to life at his command which reveals the magic of the book. The other book is a rather thick tome, bound in crimson stained leather. This tome is closed with a strap and lock that only opens when a correct command word is spoken. When viewed reading from this tome the pages appear blank until a trained eye wanders over them, where the runes appear and fade from view once the page is passed.
He does not carry any weapons of note, other than his staff.

I've attached Joseph's portrait. Just extract the .zip to your portraits folder.
Joseph is 5'10" tall. He has an athletic build.
Joseph wears a charcoal black leather armor with silver clasps and silver buckles on the sleeves. Over this armor he wears a charcoal black stitched leather tabard. He wears a coarse charcoal black cloak with a silver clasp, charcoal black gloves and charcoal black boots. His head is covered by a charcoal black hood with a charcoal black veil that obscures his face.
Joseph bears a polished steel mace in a loop on his belt and two kukris with black handles in sheaths on his thighs. Beneath his cloak the outline of a round shield and a short bow are apparent. Also apparent is the hilt of another weapon, a sword or axe, though its head or blade rests somewhere under the outline of the round shield.
And, copied from the FRC casting call thread, who would play him?

Closest picture I've been able to find that kind of fits.
Name: Oriana Gant
Age: Late 20's (looks a little bit older than her actual age)
Eyes: Right - Blue (faint jagged scarring around the eye), Left - Green
Description: Always seen wearing gloves of some sort, and typically keeping her arms covered as much as possible. When her arms are visible, there are arcane marks on them along with several depictions of skulls, death, and the like.
She has a nervous habit of rubbing her left arm. When extremely agitated, she will pick at her arm. This has caused random scarring on her arm and does break up some of her tattoos.
While average in looks amongst most of the adventuring women in the land, she tries to look her best at all times. Her skin is a pale greyish white. There's the lingering scent of roses and a faint hint of death and decay about her. Anyone taking the time to look will note that the bottom of her skirts are usually very dirty, as if she spends a good bit of time in muddy areas.

(This portrait was done for another character of mine in an online roleplay but it fits Kalee very well when she's concentrating in battle.)
Kalee Reyne is average height of 5'4" with dark red hair and blue eyes, an unusual combination so her father kept telling her. Her smile is bright and she's quick to laugh. Most of the time she can be found sitting at the table outside the Regal Griffin writing of or listening to tales of others' adventures. The times she's brave enough to seek her own adventure, she has a tower shield strap to her arm and a sword sheathed at her hip. Just recently she has taken to wearing a locket around her neck. If asked she will show you the pressed rose petals inside.
A tall, slender, strong-looking woman, looking to be in her late twenties. Favoured by good looks, she has black hair and pale skin, with piercing grey eyes. She carries herself with confidence and a hint of arrogance. The cold fury of her early years have diminished, and a faint wry smile often curves her lips, causing her to appear amused by her surroundings.
5'11” or 180 cm.
155 lbs. or 70 kg.
Favouring green and black clothing, she seems to enjoy appearing well-dressed, displaying wealth. When traveling or in threatening surroundings, she wears an extremely well made plate-armour, and a expensive-looking longsword by her side. On one finger she wears a blood-red ring of what seems to be living coral, set with a black pearl. Around her neck she wears a silver necklace displaying the forked wave of Umberlee.

Thril Di'ren of High Forest
Thril Di'ren is a lean but muscular elf with calm but piercing emerald eyes flecked with silver and two prominent scars upon his face. Name: Tarithel Novar Age: Early twenties Hair: Fiery red Eyes: Gray Height: 5'8'' Weight: ~130 lbs
Tarithel certainly is a beautiful young woman, if maybe not as refined as she might if she were a Sunite for example. She tends to dress with some regard to fashion and underlining her good looks, but not to the extreme. One will rather see her smile than laugh out loud, and the smile will also be rather crooked more often than not. That smile and the twinkle in her eyes sometimes rather at odds with her otherwise often maiden-like and/or cool demeanour.
As for images ... it is rather hard to find a short-haired redhead on the internet. My attempt to make my own has some potential, but wasn't quite it:
I tend to imagine her as a mix of the facial features of these (though with the makeup around her eyes maybe only after being troubled by her dreams ;-) ):
Name: Riell (no family name has ever been revealed) Race: Wood Elf Age: She's an Elf :P Height: 5'4" Build: Lithe (she calls it svelte) Hair: Silvery ("blonde" not grey) Eyes: Hazel
Riell's colouring (both hair and skin) is unusually fair for a Wood-elf. For that reason alone, many of her kind would consider her no "great beauty". The only distinguishing "mark" are a series of slowly fading lines visible across the backs of both hands. (// anybody familiar with the "scarring" that can occur from frostbite or other veinous damage would know what I mean)
Riell always dresses in light garb, and almost always in shades of green (though often with highlights of silver, white and/or black). When dressed for battle, a pair of matched scabbards hang from a belt but only one sheath holds a blade - a fine shortsword of obviously Elven design. As often as not, she has a bow (also of Elven design) in her hand rather than the sword. The bow has two runes embossed in silver on the central "spar" of the frame - they read (in Elvish) "Estel" ("Faith" or "Hope") and "Huore" ("Courage").
In combat, she may use the sword mentioned above in combination with a shield though the overall effect is rather ungainly. She appears far more accustomed to her bow but she always keeps that sword at her side.
She wears neither earrings nor any adornments in her hair (except for an occasional flower). She does have a number of rings on her fingers though the metal seems oddly dulled and the gems somewhat clouded. One ring, however, on her right ring finger stands out - a slender band of gold with a lustrous round emerald; it is in perfect condition. A necklet formed of a single thread of silver holds a tiny "charm" - this can only be seen when she's wearing clothes cut suitably low in front.
When in a more relaxed situation, she is likely to be wearing an ornate silver brooch. That piece depicts two Elves standing back-to-back, each holding one hand of the other. The male (on the left as the brooch is viewed by an onlooker) holds a staff in his off-hand, the female holds a rapier. Between them is the shape of a blossom; from the blossom, an arm pushes upwards holding a bow flat at about waist height of the two Elves. To clarify, this piece is never in evidence when Riell is "exploring". Update: Riell will not be seen wearing the brooch at any time from now on (unless/until RP dictates its return). Update: Neither the scabbards nor the shortsword (obviously) are in evidence any longer. Update: "Estel ar Huore" is no longer in evidence either. Now, over her back is slung a longbow made of some dark wood. The wood is pitted in places as if it had been subjected to damp/rot for some time. Over the coming months, Riell will polish those divots out of the bow's frame. Update: Around her left ring finger (a spot check at DC-16, allowing for lighting is needed) is tied a single loop of some thin strand, a rich brown in colour. Update (Jan 2011): She now wears a plain scabbard which houses a rapier. There's nothing obviously special about the blade and it's seldom she's seen using it. Update (Jan 2011): Her usual battle garb has undergone a major colour-shift. It's now predominantly silver with golden highlights and turquoise highlights. Her hooded cloak is turquoise with silver trim.
Riell is very expressive in conversation. She is much more likely than not to let her emotions show - be they good or ill. While speaking with others, her eyes will seldom wander from the person with whom she's speaking directly. When not engaged in conversation (or some other task requiring her attention), her eyes have a habit of systematically sweeping her surroundings.
I'd like to thank jujomojo for allowing me to post this image of Riell. It's cropped from one JM did some time back.

Height: 5'1'' Weight: 167 lbs. Apparent Age: 25-27 Eye Color: Blue/Green. Hair Color: Dark Brown. Other 1. His iris is a mixture between blue and green colors. With the blue color hovering around the outer wall of the iris, and the blue circling in the center of it. 2. Aldrich has an earring on his right and left ear, both are on the lobe and are simple, and thin iron earrings.
The man you see in front of you looks young and hardy. His body is of an athletic build, perfect for running long distances and enough muscle to wield a sword with ease. His face is stern and has a strong jawline, with a 5 o'clock shadow, hanging on his face. His eyes, look mysterious and wild, with the combination of green and blue, but they compliment his handsome face very well. His hair is pushed backwards, with a few hairs forming short spikes on the top of his forhead.
He is usually dressed in simple leather armors, ranging from forest colors, to grey and black colors. Also, with a cloak and hood and a sword sheath on his right hip.
Eyes: Silvery blue Hair: Black Skin tone: pale, like most moon elves Build: athletic
Appearance: Though she appears no more than perhaps seventeen summers by human standards, this dark-haired elven maiden with inquisitive eyes appears to have more wisdom than her apparent youth would suggest. A single, starkly white feather stands out in contrast against her lustrous, ebony hair, some of which has been pulled into slender braids woven with small trinkets carved from both wood and bone.
A wooden flute hangs off one belt, next to what appears to be a sheathed, curved blade.
Miscellaneous appearance notes: In addition to the feather in her hair and other small trinkets, she wears an ornament, carved from ironwood, of several laurel leaves, much in the fashion of those worn by Rillifane’s followers (represented by the funky “thing” on her head in game). Oenemi is typically dressed with the emblem of House Hawksong, recognizable to most elves from Evermeet.
This a long descpirtion but i wanted to do it in narrative form from El's point of view. I have included a link to picture of Eileanora as well.
Eileanora sat naked on the dusty wooden floor, staring at herself in the mirror. Her emerald green eyes tracing their way across her form which had been partially covered by her long red hair.
“Why would he every want someone like you?”
She hunched over putting her elbows on her knees continuing to appraise herself harshly. Her delicate frame, covered with tattoos of a rich earthen brown and deep emerald, seemed almost malnourished compared to other more noble women.
She frowned, sitting up to get a different view of herself.
“Not even a proper Illuskan. Why on earth would an elf want you?”
She was right about not appearing Illuskan. She was a quite petite compared to others like Krohn and Hrothgar of the same heritage. She also lacked the fair hair and steel blue eyes common of that people. She had only recently discovered that her mother was in fact a Ffolk which finally explained her small frame and narrow waist. She also lacked the child bearing hips that were considered sensual in her culture and was quite bitter about it.
Her eyes welled slightly with tears she refused to let fall. She touched the right side of her face and continued speaking with her reflection.
“Something from a past life…what if he finds out about my past life? He would never want to speak to me again. He would see how vile I am…how weak.”
A few tears began to fall on the dusty floor. Eileanora glanced over at the dress laid out on the bed, her attempt at being more feminine. Thalia had done a terrific job on it. El remembered Thalia working on the dress without even knowing her measurements and smiled.
“If I do not get down there to sell they will come to check on me.”
El looked over at the large sack of random things found at the bandit camp and grimaced. She took a deep breath and let out a long sigh. She stood up and slid into her merchant’s attire, after making sure she was dust free of course, and walked over to wrap the dress up replacing it in her bag.
“I will have to tell him though.” She frowned as she continued preparing to leave. “If I don’t explain my past than how can I convince him the priest was lying about Aris.”
She looked around the room making sure all of her things where collected, opened the door quietly and left. The only sign of her being there was a small spot on the floor that was lacking dust, right in front of the mirror.
Name: Dana'cia Nightmeadow Race: Wood Elf Age: 105 (she tells people 150 though) Height/Weight: Average for a wood elf Build: Lithe and slender Hair: Dark blond to light brown depending on the light Eyes: Green-blue ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Dana'cia looks like a typical wood elf except maybe for her eye color. Her green eyes have a great amount of blue in them making one wonder if she maybe have some moon elf blood in her. She is from the Dalelands but her family has connections to Evereska as well.
She likes to have her fun and nothing seems too serious to make a joke about, yet sometimes this whimsical young elven woman surprises people with saying something insightful and intelligent. Perhaps there is more to her than just smiles and jokes after all.
The only thing more important to her than having fun is her love of archery. She always carry her beloved bow with her and even though she owns a short sword, she has to this day never been seen using it. She claims she carry it in case, -Solonor forbid-, she should run out of arrows. Her big dream is to be able to learn the secrets of arcane archery and therefore she is currently training hard to become an arcane archer.

Plays: Dana'cia Nightmeadow and Elarinya Zurastacanae ------------------------------------- Used to play: Mista Cuar
"Snipe" McNoll Average looking fella, who's below average CHA is pretty much based off his big mouth, poor timing and passion for ticking people off. Always pictured him looking like a cross between Bruce Campbell and The Fonz minus the chin and the hairdo you see in game.
Shi Tso Chan His face looks like a handsome bald elderly Asian man, but he has the body of a man in his late twenties. Which happens to be his actual age, the family curse just happened to age his face rapidly on his 18th birthday. For his face picture an Asian Patrick Stewart in his 90's with half elven ears that have been cut to look human.
Ugg If you ever see him without his helmet picture a barely 3 foot tall Joseph Merrick "The Elephant Man" but with blueish skin tone aAnd a skinny sickly body. Between the deformation and the scars from ogre beatings it is purely an act of will that his body is still functioning.
To those that have seen his human features reflect the passage of time, should they spy a glimpse of his face now would note the age has melted from his features. The hint of gray in his hair suddenly absent and his ice blue eyes shimmering with intensity and youthful vigor.
((Ranan normally wears a hood pulled way over his face using shadows and angles to conceal telling features. The attached image of Spartacus from the show of the same name used to convey Ranan except he would normally wear heavy armor.))
Edit: changing the image
Adding one that was suggested by someone else, representing Ranan's more charismatic face.
This would be close to the expression Malark has when listening to someone.
Malarks look of mock suprise.
Malark has rugged good looks with a constant stubble on his chin. He is usually seen sporting a rogueish grin. He is muscular and well toned, clearly works to keep his figure. He can be seen sporting a variety of different clothing. Ranging from Pink Suits to Red shirts. Malark has a blue Dragon Tattoo spiralling around his arm. He also has a tattoo of a yartling with the fret board of the yartling has notes on it, much like sheet music. Malark also has a scorpion on his chest.
Dragon Tattoo (Only Blue);
Yartling Tattoo (Only with notes on the neck);
Scorpion Tatto (Only on his chest);
Malark always has his yartling with him. The yartling is always in its case (Unless he is playing it). The case is black leather with "Malark" written on its lid in peeling white letters. He wears a form fitting cloak with a hood attached. His boots look worn, obviously he does alot of walking. He has a highly polished silver flask which he can sometimes be seen drinking from. And he has a belt with various things tucked into it. Such as Tuning forks.
(More to come)
