well, truth be told, horses WOULD solve most of the issue of distance covering, but, now that you mention it, i probably could have just said "If we had horses...." and made a better argument.
But yes, horses, when in, and for those that can afford them, would shrink the map in a grand fashion, and still allow the dungeon crawl.
Wonder if there will be "no horse" or "no gallop" zones someday in nwn2...sort of an artificial area speed effect that only affects horse usage or something.
Tired. Sleep. Work in 4 hours. Ick.
